Questions & Answers
No, I doubt it. It's a tight fit even if the barrel's circumference is consistent all the way around. A separate lens pouch is something I would recommend.
That's correct.
The width is exactly 7cm. I've just taken a measurement of mine.
It does not include a keychain that says "Remove before filming."

Since the Arri AC pouch is no longer available, this is the best AC bag available. It works well and is constructed of high-quality materials. It's a little stiff at first, but I expect it to soften with use. br>br>Fits perfectly on my Thinktank speed belt 2. br>br>I can easily carry all of this in here on set with plenty of room to spare. br>Utility knifebr>Multi toolbr>Flashlightbr>LensPenbr>2 Screwdriversbr>4 dry erase markersbr>2 pensbr>Pencilbr>Sharpiebr>Non contact power testerbr>Lens cleaning fluidbr>Lens tissuebr>Lens clothbr>Notepadbr>Lighterbr>Battery chargerbr> br>br>I use this as an assistant on a regular basis on film and photo sets. It's something I wouldn't leave the house without.
The build quality is excellent. It appears to be in good condition. I couldn't love it because of a couple of issues:
1. Even full-size pens or markers won't fit in the pen holders because they're too deep. Because they sink to the bottom, you must fish them out. I'm not sure why no one put this through a usability test.
2. And I'm to blame for not double-checking ahead of time, but be aware - It doesn't come with a shoulder strap, nor does it have a place to attach one if you use one from another bag. There is no other way to carry this than on your belt. If it's fully loaded, you'll need a tight belt or wear it on its own belt, or it'll pull your pants down.
For grip and electric work, I use this pouch. It holds my wire cutters, scissors, 6 in 1 screwdriver, c wrench, hex keys, pocket knife, speed wrench, box wrench, socket tester, pens, sharpies, a lighter, and a welder's glass, as well as a travel size bottle of sunscreen or bug spray in the side pocket. I'd never want to carry all of my tools on my belt, but it holds all of my essentials for big(ger) shows. br>br>I wouldn't want to carry all of my tools on my belt, but it does hold all of my essentials for big(ger) shows. It's made of a tough material that's held up well on a number of stages and locations across Los Angeles. I also like the Velcro top flap because it keeps my tools from falling out and injuring anyone if I'm working on a ladder or in the perms on a soundstage. To distribute weight on my belt, I keep my Leatherman, Sure Fire, tape roll/cube tap lanyard, and tape measure on separate lanyards.
When I'm working on set, I keep this on my hip at all times. br>The pouch is the perfect size, falling somewhere between too small and too big. The bag is small enough not to get in the way, but large enough to hold all of your essentials. br>I recommend purchasing a utility belt in addition to the product so that you can wear it around your waist; the bag will accommodate belts up to 2 inches wide. br>The bag CAN be worn on your regular belt, but unless you want to wear it as a fanny pack in the front, you'll need to re-attach it. Every time you want to take off your pants, lace them up. br>I'm a big fan of: "Setwear 2" Padded Belt, 32" Waist, SM/MED br>The bag says 2" inches, but the clips on both ends are just a smidgeon bigger, so you have to FORCE the bag on. The bag slid on after about 20 minutes of wrangling with the setup, and it's now perfect; the strap is the exact size I needed, and it can be taken on and off with ease.
I debated it for a few months before deciding to buy it; It was on my wish list, and I really wanted to get it, but I'm a freelancer, so I had to make do with my Home Depot pouches as much as possible. But it's a worthwhile investment. br>br>With this pouch, you can combine all of your previous odd pouches and pant pockets into one convenient package. to pouch. Granted, depending on the shoot, you may need to add extra pouches for canned air, a walkie, or large brick batteries (an Anton Bauer will be a tight fit), but most of your essentials will fit. It won't be able to hold an entire air conditioning system, but a good ditty bag can help. br>br>This pouch is tough and well-balanced on the belt; it even doubles as a comfortable arm rest on occasion! The configuration is up to you, but I like having my maglite mini in the side pocket for quick access. The inside flap pocket, which has additional velcro, is a good place to keep empty media cards on hand. br>br>As other reviewers have mentioned, velcro is a thing. It's a good thing because your belongings are less likely to fall out. But it's also a noisy device, so depending on how big of a problem it becomes, it may require some DIY engineering. Unless you work solely on MOS shoots, in which case, you're a lucky duck. br>br>Overall, you'll need to figure out what works best for you and your particular line of work. It's a good value for the money. to tools that are easily accessible.
My old bag, which held my long flat head screwdriver and had a deeper pocket, needed to be replaced. This one didn't fit, but I was able to swap it out for one with a smaller head and a slimmer handle. The pockets aren't particularly deep, and they're designed to prevent items from falling to the bottom. My last one was used to stack my cleaning and white balance cards on top of my fresh batteries on the bottom. I'm sorry, but I'm no longer capable of doing so. It's designed to hold markers, insert slates, cleaning tools, and other small items; it does hold my Freefly allen wrenches, but not mutilpurpose tools or allen wrench sets.
