In order to use this adaptor with my 0 I purchased it.
I was looking for just what I was looking for! Although I had an abundant supply of T adapters and T rings for my Schmidt cassegrains, they would not fit my new short SkyWatcher telescope. This is the Asteria This 75 Female to SCT Male Thread (2", 24 TPI) Telescope Adapter will save the day! The T adapter that I bought was redundant and I was able to image with my new scope without buying specialized Because I already had the adapter I needed, I didn't need to buy anything else.
By mounting a filter wheel between my flip mirror and my scope (CPC11), I was able to mount my flip mirror between a pair of filters. In this way, the filter can be used with both the eyepiece and the camera instead of just one. A few adjustments had to be made to the M42 To convert f thread into Interestingly, the light path did not seem to be affected by the number of threads.
As you know, this is a somewhat specialized adapter. I used it to convert a Televue TRF2008 reducer to fit the It does a good job of meeting that need. In addition, the dedicated Apogee adapters are much less expensive (if you can still find them).
It's a solidly built piece of equipment that works well. There is only one thing I wish was thinner it was lighter.
I really like the way it works, and the delivery was fast. The F/6 is used to put the aperture. I have a refractor telescope with a 3 reducer.
My needs are met by this product.
The solid heavy duty material used in the design is exactly as advertised. The next time I buy, I will.
