The Luminos 2 is correct. inch 2. Dust caps and a vinyl drawstring pouch for storage are included with the 5x Barlow Lens. Greetings from Celestron's Garrett.
It's a barlow with a diameter of 2 inches. There should be no problem using a 2 inch eyepiece if your current setup can handle it. Your 6e is a new one on me. Although I am not an expert astronomer, I believe a 2 inch barlow is overkill for a 6 inch mirror, assuming it can accept the piece.
To focus it in my RC 8", I had to add 3" to the focal length. br>Are you willing to take it a step further? You can get an idea by simply moving the eyepiece/camera closer to your face.
To use this eyepiece, you'll need to purchase a 2-inch diagonal.

For my 2" diagonal and lenses, I needed a 2" Barlow, and this worked perfectly. It can be used as both a Barlow and a small makeshift weapon if you need to hit someone in the head. This item is substantial, and I would be concerned about the safety of the tile or wood floors if one of these were dropped on them. br>br>All kidding aside, it's a fantastic lens that's NOT CHEAP but does a great job and was exactly what I needed for viewing planets and other galaxies. I would strongly suggest it. Just keep it a secret from your wife about how much you spent. )br>br>Improved the Size Reference section by adding some images.
The adapter is extremely durable and effective. Barlow is a big guy with a lot of muscle. But it wasn't as heavy as I had anticipated, which is a plus. The adapter is extremely durable and of high quality. There is a thin storage case included, but it could have been of higher quality. To demonstrate the magnification, I've attached two prime shots of my local traffic light, one with and one without the Barlow.
I have an 8-inch Dobsonian with a 28-mm deep-view lens, which captures a lot of light, but I've always wished for a 2-inch eyepiece to get in closer. The 1. I'm not having as much fun at 25. Of course, as I'm sure those of you reading this are, I was concerned about the loss of light and increased distortion. Please allow me to reassure you that this is incredible. This is truly incredible. I put it on onions belt and got perfect views of the nebs on the sword, as well as great close-ups of Jupiter with perfect clarity and no awkward edge distortion. Tonight's stargazing was fantastic, and this is exactly what I had hoped for in a purchase. If you're on the fence about purchasing it, go ahead and do so. If you aren't looking for those, don't bother. buy it. Simply go ahead and purchase it. You will not be dissatisfied with this purchase.
The build quality is excellent. My Skywatcher EVO 72ed focuser couldn't handle the load. When I used my DSLR with this barlow, the focuser wouldn't stay in place past 45 degrees. It would be ideal for a fixed output device such as an SCT or similar, but not for a friction focuser. Another option is to use a rack and pinon focuser.
The brass thumbscrew connection isn't my favorite. Especially when you add a 7 element 2 inch eyepiece, which is significantly more expensive and heavier than this Barlow. br>Weight is great; it adds very little load, and applying filters is a breeze. However, a fifth star would undoubtedly be added if the security design were improved.
I'm not sure why, but everything on my lens is extremely dark. It makes no difference which eyepiece or camera I use. I've got a Celestron C-series telescope. I know it's not my telescope because it's at 11 p. m. Perhaps it's better in a darker area in bortle class 7 skys?.
I wanted to get the barlow lense because I use 2" lenses. Although the construction is excellent, I am unable to see clearly through it. Even with an extender, I can't seem to get the telescope in focus. I'm not sure what's going on here!.
I was looking for a suitable replacement for my current 1. This was an excellent replacement for the 25" barlow. Its higher magnification appeals to me personally. It also allows me to use my two-inch eyepieces, which is great. It's surprisingly light, and the case is made of high-quality materials. Overall, I believe I got a lot of bang for my buck.
