The quality assurance system is nonexistent The existence of. It became apparent that the Diagonal was missing the screw for attaching the eyepiece, which is an indication that their quality assurance is very poor as this ought to be obvious. However, they wanted me to order the new screws on my own and to pay for them. After I made the email, they gave me money to order the screws on my own. Having ordered new screws, I am now told it will take about one month for them to arrive. They should have told me that I could send this product back and they would send me a new one if I had known I would have to wait a month. There was no indication that they would do this but they did not inform me of this. This is not a product you should buy, and if you do and have any issues with it, please return it.

This is a much clearer and sharper picture than the previous one. It appears that the diagonal from point A to point B has a wider angle than the one Upgraded Celestron eyepieces are much better, but also considerably cheaper than the older Celestron ones. Celestron eyepieces are more expensive than other brands. The diagonal only has the problem that it does not have right/left image correction. I decided that, because the view is so sharp, the fact that the correction is not there is worth the difference. Added to that, these upgrades make the stars look like If the image is crisp, it is much easier to observe other details. It is worthwhile to upgrade the telescope.

I do not see a huge improvement over the diagonal that came with my telescope. It may be just me, or my particular telescope, but I only see a minor improvement. There is a good first impression that the diagonal has good quality and integrity, and that it does what it is supposed to do. You should keep in mind that it's heavy, and that it may wobble a bit depending on how you focus. As a personal matter, colors and eyepieces are very subjective. Whatever color and eyepiece combination I prefer must be tailored to the particular combination of telescopic and optical parts in my telescope. The overall cost isn't too high, so it's not a bad purchase.

QC might have been an issue with the item I received, but I had a difficult time getting the eyepieces into the compression ring, and it took a lot of rotating and fiddling to get them to do so. If we look at the compression ring, there is a little bit of it that sticks out even if we remove the tightening screw completely. The other thing I noticed was that the compression screw was placed in an awkward position on the Celestron NeXYZ phone holder when using short eyepieces. There will be no star taken away for that, just something to note if using that service. Still, it does work with it, it just isn't as easy as it used to be.

The colors and brightness are much better than those original to Only one thing to keep in mind is that when using the eyepiece in land observations, the image appears like a mirror. So if you compare the real view to the eyepiece view, you will see the right side of the tree (for example) You must move the telescope so that it can view the different side you want to see through the eyepiece if you want to move it.

I noticed an improvement in the brightness and clarity of the image right away. Lunar features appeared much better defined and clearer with the 90 degree diagonal supplied with the scope than they did with the stock diagonal. There was also an improvement in sharpness and distortion of images of the stars and deep-space objects , such as M57, revealed some details previously unobservable.

Additionally, it has a 90 degree diagonal as opposed to the 45 degree one that came with Your neck is less stressed when viewing high places in the sky.

There is a nice diagonal in this image. Located on a hill, it offers a good view. A mirror image of an upright diagonal, as is typical. I only use this as often as I could have gotten a correct image diagonal, so it isn't as popular. Quite well built and has the same look as Sky's two inch diagonal television, which I bought As a watcher.
