Product Description

Specifically designed for BMPCC 6K pro, SmallRig Full Cage 3270 allows you to handle huge amounts of data. There would be no obstruction on the camera buttons. You can also disassemble the cage and use it as half of one. The grip is perfectly molded to the body, resulting in a comfortable grip.

In addition to mounting points of 1/4" and 3/8", cold shoes, NATO rails, and ARRI-style holes, this product contains a bottom slot for Samsung T5/7 SSD and a HDMI & USB-C cable clamp to ensure stability and smooth data transmission.

For mounting the monitor, the Swivel and Tilt Adjustable Mount/Holder 2903 & 2904 can be used. With ARRI-Style holes on the top, it can be used with a Top Handle 2165 for handheld shooting, or it can be mounted with NATO Rail Handles 2270 & 2187 for a better shooting experience. Besides mounting with HDMI & USB-C Cable Clamp 3271 and T5/7 SSD Mount 3272, it is also compact enough to integrate with cable clamp 3271.

The SmallRig Cage 3270 comes with multiple mounting holes on the bottom so you can attach Quick Release Plates 1280 & 2146 and RS2 stabilizers, and it includes a built-in spanner for easy removal.

Not at all

The black magic pocket 6K cage will it work with the regular pocket?

Unless you have the BMPCC 6k cage, you need to get them. A cage other than the 6K Pro is not available. There is no comparison between the body of the cameras.

Are you sure that the angelbird ssd2go will fit in the SSD slot?

The cage is nice

For my BMPCC 4k, I have and live in a tilta cage. Compared to the previous design, I believe this has a better location for the SSD. However, smallrig was the first cage made, so it is understandable that accessories were slow to appear. Only then do I need the angled HDMI/USB adapter, which is available only on pre-order. Yet it succeeds in providing good quality stuff that is less expensive, at the same time as being One day Smallrig may offer a package setup, but it's the ordering of all the ins and outs separately that's a pain.

I like the fit of the cage

Added to your 6K Pro's must-have list! It has finally arrived - fans of the 6K Pro have been waiting for a cage for months! I like the fit and functionality of the cage. It's the same as what you expect from Smallrig in terms of design and layout. With the added SSD slots/mount they added to this cage, 3 drives can be connected at once to this build. The Smallrig wooden handle grips hold the Samsung T5 inside, so we can store 3 drives at the same time. Our 6k Pros are in cages and we definitely plan on getting cages for the remaining I have not tried halfing the cage yet, however if you need that feature for your needs this cage will fulfill that need.
