For me, many of the reasons for buying the Mobile 3 were because it now appears to be possible to mount the microphone directly. I can confirm that this is indeed possible, and it works perfectly. Other improvements include the ability to switch from portrait to landscape mode with the touch of a button (which is useful to the tik tok generation), better tracking of objects, and a foldable design that will make it easier to carry. From what I can see, there's a lot more movement possible than there was with the Mobile 2, so I am not hitting the limit of the gimbal's range as soon as I did with it. I would like to buy this item for From the Mobile 2 to the iPhone 3 it's a no-brainer.

As a result of reading some reviews, I was worried my phone (iPhone XR) would be too big to fit in this case. Luckily, the bottom of the case pops out and my iPhone XR fits inside it with room to spare even with its huge waterproof, shock/drop resistant case. This means you can connect your iPhone XR to it with no issues. Also, I have another thing to say. I am satisfied with this. It performed as described, if not better. The purchase I made was a great deal for me. As an additional recommendation, I recommend picking up accidental damage coverage when registering your product. It's good for 2 years and only costs the same as a large Big Mac meal (10 dollars).

There was a great deal of disappointment in this. When I tried it prior to taking it on vacation, it worked for one instance. The company never got back to work. When the item would turn in, but not stabilize, I returned it for a total of $106 (including taxes). The seller charged me $50 for the return. There will be a 50 percent As I see it, this is not only horribly outrageous, but it is also unethical, and borders on theft in my opinion. Avoid this buyer at all costs. My pursuit of this with Amazon will be pursued in principle, since such a thing cannot be allowed. As of now, I will keep the broken unit for $55 if you return it to me. It feels too much like I was violated and lied to. When I got my iphone 12 I was sold an item that was supposed to work with it, when I got it, whoa and behold, it did not work with it. This seller should be avoided at all costs.

Having owned the Osmo Mobile 2, it had some issues that I think the 3 resolves. I liked it and I think it was working well, but it had a few niggles. *. *. - Almost as small as a paperback, it folds up. DJI deserves a big thumbs up My gear bag is much more comfortable with this. The *br*- I can now use the power connector on my phone without blocking it. My phone can now be connected to the Osmo via the phone's power cable, so I can now You can also plug in an external microphone if you need it. The Osmo 2 worked harder to maintain balance than the 2 and consequently required me to keep it pushed over a bit. This caused it to use more power to maintain We don't have to worry about that anymore. The *br*- A quick button push is all it takes to switch from landscape to portrait and back again. I thank DJI for letting me use your products. As a whole, for the price point, this is a huge improvement and well worth its cost. You should get a small tripod stand for it though. It's much more useful than a standard stand.

Works with OtterBox cases, but not with Apple ones. Read on to find out what happens next! The camera gimbal I own for my GoPro cameras is not the first one I've owned, but it does more than the one I have for this camera. The phone I have is a Galaxy S9. There are a couple drawbacks to this DJI Osmo mobile 3 for me, namely that it won't work with the otter box case I have for my iPhone. There is no way I would ever be without a case for my phone, and it seems to add a fair amount of weight and make some strange noises while moving the phone. So having to remove my phone from it's case is an inconvenience, and I will never ditch it altogether. As long as the operating instructions weren't all that clear, I just went on YouTube to find operation information from other people previously using the product. downloaded the DJI Mimo app to my phone, but when I first attempted to connect to the gimbal with the Bluetooth, I could not get it to recognize the gimbal. My solution was to uninstall the app and then reinstall it As soon as I downloaded it, it worked. For some reason I think it's kind of dumb to need an account and give all this other information just so I can use a gimbal with my In summary, I really like this gimbal it will be good when I'm putting something together and have the time to remove the phone case, but it is faster access for those spontaneous videos and I don't have to remove the phone.
