It's what I use for film projects where the subject rotates 360 degrees in front of the camera. It's very quiet and consistent, regardless of whether it's holding a small glass or a 210-pound person. I haven't tried it with anything heavier than 210 pounds, but I'm confident it can support the maximum weight listed in the specifications.
