Both of the ones I received were scratched. I was unable to make use of them. I believe they were factory seconds from the company where I purchased them. They are not something I would recommend. If they're brand new, they shouldn't have any scratches on them. I've requested a replacement but have yet to receive a reply.

It's similar to plexiglass in terms of appearance. The white one gets used a lot more than the black one. Despite the use of anti-dust spray and anti-dust cloths, black still shows dust.

The items, particularly the black one, had scratches all over the surface. There will be no reflection. br>I was about to return it when I double-checked the review and the Q&A. A (I did check before ordering, but I was under the impression that there were far more positive reviews than negative ones at the time). During the Q Someone mentioned a protective layer that is easily peeled away. Then it occurred to me that mine included the protective layers as well. br>So I peeled off the protective layer, and yes, the surface is incredibly smooth, with no visible scratches. I can see the reflection because it is so shiny. I'm glad I didn't contact the seller right away and return the item. br>Now I'm very satisfied with the products.
Apply three coats of and buff it thoroughly with a clean, soft buffing pad. When they arrived, they were fairly shiny, but there were a few flaws that would show up in product photos. Take some time to help them shine if you really want them to.
This is a review of the black version only. I purchased the white acrylic table top pieces separately from the rest of the kit. I bought a size 9 in this case. 5x. 5 inches long and about 1 inch wide Height is 5 inches. They would fit in a standard backpack if you kept the box and stored them, and could be used for things "on the go" or outdoors if you kept the box and stored them. I'm going to give it a shot as soon as possible. They came with a protective sealant that was easy to peel off when they came out of the box (it's currently raining). I've attached some photos that are unaltered but cropped to demonstrate the reflection capabilities of the same thing - my (broken) wristwatch in a less-than-ideal lighting situation (I used a flash because my bulb had blown) In fact, it is so reflective that if you aren't careful - It will also reflect you and/or your camera flash. If you're shooting product shots for e-commerce, I'd recommend them. It should, in my opinion, work well with standard point-and-shoot cameras. They appear to be of adequate quality - I attached my 50mm lens as well as my 200mm lens to it. as well as a small piece of genuine marble - I wouldn't put anything too heavy on them because it's almost a pound. Jewelry, magnets, possibly even food items, and so on. br>Perfect for photographing small products. When the weather permits, I will update this - I'm interested to see how floral work on it will turn out.
To begin with, it was well protected with a peel-off coating on all sides that helped to protect the surface from scratches, and it was well packaged within the shipping box. The acrylic tables themselves were an excellent height, neither too tall nor too short, which was important to me because I primarily photograph jewelry and my photo box is moderately small. br>br> I do, however, use it to photograph clothing accessories, shoes, glasswares, and whatever else comes to mind. The size was about 1 ft. and included knots, etc. square. This was ideal for my requirements. The tables are well-made, not cheap, and have a beautiful reflective surface on both sides. They're great for creating light and mirror effects in general photography or for making a shadowless box. If I could change one thing about this product, it would be to smooth out the edges and tips a little more, as well as include a polishing cloth to keep the surfaces shiny. br>br>In the end, I purchased a second set because they were so useful and the effects were so good.
Having the added height in one piece is a nice touch, and they're wonderfully reflective. br>br>I've been using these types of boards for a long time and have found these superior in build quality - They're thicker and more reflective than most, and the protective film is easy to peel off; if you've ever struggled to get the adhesive-backed paper off of some of these types of boards, you'll appreciate how simple it is to remove these. They're dust magnets, and if you look at them the wrong way, they scratch - just like the rest of these boards. But, regardless of who makes them, this is how they all work. I find that good quality microfiber is necessary for keeping them clean, and canned air is also useful. br>br>Excellent value for a set with both black and white pieces - They're fantastic, and they let you create amazing effects for your small-item photos. br>br>Strongly Recommend.
Shiny and gleaming To protect them during packaging, it includes a thin film that peels off like a sticker. To demonstrate the base's reflectivity, I've attached some VERY AMATEUR photos. As far as lighting goes, I'm using a light tent and a few low-cost spotlights. The pictures were taken with an iPhone and haven't been altered in any way. The black one is equally reflective, but due to the contrast, appears to be more reflective in the right lighting. br>br>Shipping was excellent, and the unit arrived in perfect condition.
These are lint magnets, and I really wanted to like them. First, they arrive with a scratched plastic film, indicating that they have already been subjected to wear and tear. Some of the scratches went all the way through to the tray itself. The trays become a lint magnet when the film is peeled off. I can't seem to get the tray clean or lint-free, especially on the black one. I was hoping to use it for product photography for my company, but I can't have something that looks filthy. Make a financial plan.
There are a lot of scratches. Both items were delivered to me. The white one is in perfect condition, but the black one has three distinct scratches that show up in my product photos even when I send it back. It is only because of this that it has received a low rating. Aside from that, the items are satisfactory. I would have preferred to receive the black one again, preferably without deep scratches, and then I would have given it a 5 star rating.
