It operates without the need for cell service because it creates its own WiFi network. The signal's range is about 25 feet.

So that's all I'm going to need is this aqua- vu av connect is a universal wi-Fi access point. wi-fi adapter, my phone and/or tablet, the underwater camera with av output, and a source of power?

The app didn't work for me. My newer Android Samsung phone shuts down when I try to use it. It was simple to connect to the internal battery.

I attempted this twice, and both times the video did not last the duration of the video intent. For fear of losing the action I had caught on the second outing, I even stopped and started again. This product is unacceptable because I received two 22-second videos with video quality that was so poor when compared to the camera's monitor. This was a brilliant concept, but the app appears to be broken. This is not something I would advise you to do.

Now that I can record video on my phone, I'm overjoyed. As a result, I've changed my rating. br>br>I was looking forward to using this to record video on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus. The app, however, does not work with the most recent version of Android, which completely baffles me. When I contacted them in late December, they stated that they were looking into it. They say they're still working on it, and I've checked back a few times. It's now March, and the problem has yet to be resolved. I'm not sure what the issue is, but until they fix it, I'm going to have to give up on this product. Maybe they'll figure it out one day.

Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. br>br>Would not work at all on my Samsung Note 10. br>br>Aqua vu customer service stated that there is a problem with the Android app and that they are working on it. What are they expecting us to do in the meantime?br>br>At 149 dollars, it's nothing more than a paper weight. If you have an Android phone, don't waste your time and money on this piece of garbage. br>br>I got lucky and was able to return it as a defective product. br>br>If you don't have an Android phone, don't waste your time and money on this piece of junk.
