Because this type of lens hood attaches to the bayonet mount on the outside front of the lens, the filter size does not matter. Whatever the case, even if you have two lenses with the same mount size, it does not mean that a lens hood designed for telephoto lenses should fit a wide-angle lens- A vignette will be sent to you
A LH-200 was purchased by me I have a 78F hood that comes with my 24-inch R6 A simple clock mechanism attaches the lens to the outside in just one click - 240 lens I don't have The 24 with me, but that was a good short twist I use my EF L version of the 105 R with an adapter since I have the 105 R version.

A hood is already available for this lens if you intend to buy one. I'd like to add that this hood darkened the corners of the picture when attached at 24mm, as mentioned in another review. It is not the hood that blocks the photo, it is the vignetting that occurs when you shoot this lens at 24mm in RAW mode and then open the photo in third party photo editing software such as With this hood, there will not be any corner darkening if taken as JPG. The corner darkening will also not appear if you shoot in RAW and open the file in Canon's Digital Photo Professional 4. Computerized lens distortion and aberration correction is built into RF lenses (and R cameras). These errors are corrected automatically by the program. You need to change the file type if you open a RAW file in another format In the Canon program, you will see terrible distortions due to the fact that they don't automatically correct them. If you use Lightroom, you can correct the distortion manually, but you must enable it in advance. It's pretty ghastly. Here's how uncorrected photos look. You can see what it looks like below. I like this one better than the original.
As long as it is not locked to the lens, it will not work. I have no problem snapping on the hood for the 800, so it seems the hood for the 600F11 is designed incorrectly. Tape keeps it in place, but it comes off if you don't.
Instead of buying the Canon lens hood, save money and buy this one. The Canon RF 24-105 IS is a recent purchase of mine A 240mm F4 lens For some travel, I needed to use my Canon EOS 3 IS USM lens, but I couldn't justify spending $40 on a Canon lens hood (EW-2679 In fact, this lens should have come with the 78F) that's needed for the (Canon, you are a disgusting person. just Considering the price, I thought it might be worth a shot and it did the trick. While a lens hood might not seem like much, it provides the following benefits It can be reverse mounted on the lens to save space. *It protects the lens. *It can be reverse mounted on the lens. It gets its lock out by pressing a button. It seems to be equally sturdy as a Canon lens hood in terms of strength.
S. today, 6 weeks after being delivered from China. My first impression of the company I thought it was well made, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Identical to Canon hoods, but has a proper latch. This lens cap works well, albeit a little loosely, except that it does not fully secure at the REVERSE position (storage position), but still stays It may have a small gap around the mount, but that's not going to affect its functionality, and the red index mark to indicate where to fit the mount to a lens may be difficult to see, but those are minor issues.
I highly recommend this lens hood. It fits very well and is very easy to use. With a push of a button, it can be locked. In addition to being able to reverse it, it can also be stored that way. If you ever manage to find one, the lens hood from Canon won't come with the lens, is almost impossible to find, and costs 3 or 4 times as much as the lens itself.
I bought this lens hood to replace my Canon lens hood since Canon does not supply lens hoods with non-Canon lenses. You can buy it separately. These lenses are part of the L series. There is nothing high tech about using a lens hood, but I won't do it without it since flare can lead to fuzzy pictures.
-I now have a lens hood for my Canon RF 800mm f/11 lens. As a result of the low cost, I expected a hood that was fair to flimsy but better than having none My pleasant surprise was exceeded my expectations. While it is large, it does have a large lens as well.
On 3/2/2021 the hood I ordered on 2/19/2021 arrived. Considering the item was shipped from China, there isn't much to complain about. Despite being a small item, it is very well made and packed. Despite the price being relatively low, the item does not feel cheap. In addition to having a locking feature and doing not interfere with the UV filter on my lens, the material is very high quality and the fit is perfect with the RF 800mm. I was very pleased with the quality and fit of the RF 800mm. Generally speaking, the comment is very positive for a fraction of the price of the original Canon Hood (by the way, they're out of stock everywhere) you get precisely There is no doubt in my mind that everyone with a RF 800mm lens should purchase this Lens Hood.
