Since purchasing my first Haoge lens hood, I have only used them, and have loved them first and foremost for their design and quality of workmanship, but also for how well they fit my lenses. Finished products are all of the highest quality You notch up. The one round and one square are for my 50mm Planar ZM and 35mm Biogon lenses, but I still cannot decide which I prefer the most. I like having both because I see almost identical images when pulling lenses out of my bag, so it makes it easier for me to distinguish them. Apart from a particularly attractive design, one of the stand-out features of these particular hoods is how they are attached. For a super tight and secure fit, these straps attach using a push on mechanism, and then twist directly on to the bayonet. Instead of mounting a bayonet to the filter thread, I prefer a bayonet mounted to the filter. You can also use a filter with the design. The Zeiss branded hoods aren't cheap, but these hoods will protect your investment and save you money. If you own either of these Zeiss ZM lenses, I would highly recommend buying these hoods.
I use it with my There are 8 Zeiss ZM lenses. I found that it is as comfortable and feels as good as the original OEM circular vented metal Japanese-made one. This hood is rectangular and notched, which makes it look more like a modern Leica 35 but is more compact you can also use the original 43mm lens caps (I replace the lousy Zeiss caps with Nikon knockoffs that are much easier to handle). One of my favorite features is that it adds less than 0 depth to the lens or camera. The number five. Definitely feels as solid as the factory hood with bayonet mount. I hate shopping at Amazon and buying Chinese slave labor products that are enriching the Bas Tard Bez OS, but I hid my morals under the piles of money I made on the stock market and pray we can take revenge on Jef Ferry sooner rather.
The fit and finish of 4 MC (VM) are excellent! It might be disheartening to learn the price (as it was for me), but good luck finding an original copy You can get it for close to this price if you buy it new or second hand. Despite my skepticism about the products you are selling, I am thoroughly impressed. The grade I have is The amount of You guys sold me an adapter and I love it. Likewise, I have fallen in love with this hood! A few twists and pushes of the hood are needed to get it on the lens, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy. This filter fits perfectly, and the best part is it creates no There's also an added benefit to the matte finish that matches the finish on the Sony A7RII. In addition to the lens cap, the hood can also be used while the cap is on. The price is definitely worth it!.
I got this metal hood to match my Voigtlander Nokton 40mm F1. It is of high quality and fits nicely. Though I didn't expect it to be wide like that, the hood is impressively wide. This is what I think the Hoage LH- looks like In comparison to the VM35P, the hood of the VM35P is slightly narrower. In any case, I have decided I want to keep it as it serves my purpose.
As far as I can tell, it is an exact replica of the original Zeiss hood for the 35mm f2 lens. The 0 and 2 are equivalent. The lens has 8 elements. The price of the Zeiss product is a bargain at half what it is. With a bayonet hood you can bayonet over the filter when a filter is installed. You could also get a screw-in hood for the lens for under $10. The hood seems quite sturdy, but only time will tell if it will last as long as the Zeiss.
A cutout needs to be made in this hood so that the viewfinder isn't covered. There are exposed Phillips head screws on the front of the cabinet, which detract somewhat from the visual appeal. Other than that, the build quality is great. I would have purchased the round version with the cutouts if I knew how much of the viewfinder I would have lost.
It does a great job in reducing flare and protecting the lens. The U/V filter is not necessary in this case, according to my opinion.
I love the color as well as the fit. Also has a lock to ensure it doesn't fall off accidentally. For those who can't find the Voigtlander hood for the 35mm Nokton at a reasonable price, this is a good alternative. As a bonus, the product matches the lens perfectly in quality and workmanship.
