As I said in my review of these JJC extension tubes, I was very pleased. The test of time is always the best judge of all things, so this time I am reviewing a product that is extremely negative. It turns out that the larger extension tube broke when mounted to my FujiFilm XT-3. blew out the lens mount on the 3 and ruined the lens. The JJC tubes saved me $50 over Fujifilm tubes, so I thought it was a wise decision. In the end, I had to pay $270 for the repair of my camera. For me, there is no need for 3rd parties.

I couldn't be more pleased with the price, 3 tubes for the same price as the Canon 25mm. This, however, is where the benefits end. The shutters do not let light in, so the pictures don't get ruined, but they can be difficult to use sometimes, especially if you are using the camera in a windy or bumpy location. Although you can get wonderful close-up shots, as you can see in the attached image, there is still some work to be done! Having said that, the Canon tube fits perfectly on all lenses, does not wobble at all, and has never lost contact. If you want an extension tube that is simpler to use and delivers the same quality of picture, the Canon is the perfect choice. In the end, they do work pretty well so long as you are happy to deal with a little fuss and possibly miss an opportunity.

Some months ago, I purchased a cheap set of these, and they turned out to be pretty useless. It should have been easy to use the focus on my camera, but they didn't even attempt it. My experience in using the two tubes I have used so far has been excellent. I haven't used all of them yet, but I can say they have worked Focus was excellent on my camera, and the pictures were clear and crisp. It surprised me that my recent extension tube purchase was not three pieces of a set as I assumed it would be. It may have been due to the product photo showing three tubes that led to that assumption. As of right now there are no 3 piece extension tube sets available for the Canon RF mount and almost all the ones that are available are more expensive than this 2 piece set, so I'll keep this set but keep an eye out for a larger set. Regarding the quality of these JJC extension tubes, I would say they are serviceable, however they do have some play on the lens mount side of each tube. While the sides connecting to the camera are fairly snug (as they should be), the rest of the device is fairly loose. It achieves a magnification just a little short of 11 when I stack the 2 tubes on my Canon RF 24 to 105mm lens If the zoom is set to 105mm, the focal length is 1. is equipped with an image stabilization mechanism and automatic focus These affordable extension tubes function properly with the tubes attached, so the focus functions normally once the tubes are attached.
