a pair of bright eyes My eyes usually squint, but the light from this ring light doesn't blind me, so I can keep them open all the way! This light is fantastic for photography, but not so much for lashing or esthetics. It was much smaller than I had anticipated. br>I don't usually write this, but I feel compelled to do so. The buyers are pleading with me to give them a 5-star review in exchange for a small payment because I gave them a poor review. This is unfortunate, because I am actually writing a genuine and honest review, and I would never lie about something as important as this. br>br>Listen, the light is fantastic if you're building something or need some decent photos taken. It is not, however, suitable for making videos or working as a service professional. Also, the button for connecting to the phone via bluetooth has stopped working for me, rendering the device useless.

I rarely write reviews, even when I return items that I don't like, but this was such a bad experience that I felt compelled to do so. There were no instructions for assembling this. There were instructions on how to turn on the remote and that there were multiple light settings, but no instructions on how to set it up with the washers and screws that came with it. Then I discovered that one of the stand's legs was broken, and it kept falling over. I ordered this for a baby photoshoot that had already taken place and was extremely disappointed.

It came with the light and the stand, but there were a lot of other pieces that didn't match. It's just a jumble of random items that, with a little patience and duct tape, can be reassembled into something useful.

I've only had it for one day, but it appears to be well-made and performs as expected. It's a lot cooler (in the sense that it's not as hot) than the desk lamp I was using before. The location of the small nut for the light attachment in the assembly instructions could be made clearer.

I bought this for Thanksgiving so that I could take professional-looking photos. We took a lot of photos of each other. When we were able to plug it in, it worked fantastically as a tripod for outdoor shots and really brightened things up for indoor shots. To be honest, the bluetooth remote for taking pictures was a LIFESAVER. We'll be doing the same thing every holiday now that we've gotten everything printed from Thanksgiving!.
