Questions & Answers

Is the wireless trigger included in this package, or do I have to buy one separately?

There is no built-in wireless trigger.

Will this flash work with a Canon 40D in ttl automatic mode?

I use the 80d, which is capable of both manual and automatic flash modes.

Is it compatible with the Canon Rebel Xti camera?

Yes, it will work with all Canon EOS cameras, and it is a fantastic deal; the Canon equivalent costs around $359. I hope that this information is useful. br>I use these flashes with a few of my cameras and have never had a problem with them. They also have a very fast regen time.

Will this flash be a good buy for me if I want to take pictures in low-light situations (night portraits)?

Probably. For better results, consider using a larger defuser on the flash.

You will not be sorry. I could never justify purchasing an original Canon Speedlite as an amateur photographer, but I needed a flash and decided to purchase this unit based on the positive reviews. Any product that has to be shipped thousands of miles may have damage, so QC issues aren't always the fault of the manufacturer. If the product performs as expected, it is deserving of a positive review because we, the customers, were the ones who agreed to the price in the first place. Regardless of price, consumers cannot expect a product to perform better than advertised; this product did exactly what it was supposed to do. It's a little power hungry, requiring a battery change every few months, but I get my batteries for $1 at Daiso. It's possible that's why there are 50 Duracells instead of $8 Duracells. This flash has no flaws, so if you're on the fence or simply want an external flash for your DSLR even if you don't use it professionally, get it.

Great Flash with a High Value
5/5

It's an E-type speedlite, and it's very nice! Compatible with TTL 2. I've been using it in full auto mode, and it does an excellent job. In that mode, it's very simple and straightforward to use. I've tried continuous shooting with flash, and the flash performs admirably in this mode. It wouldn't turn on a couple of times, so I simply opened and closed the battery compartment, and it worked fine after that. The built-in infrared emitter focus assist allows you to focus in the dark. On its own, my T6i is unable to focus in near-total darkness. When it comes to Flash Exposure Bracketing, it's similar to AEB except the flash is doing the f-stopping. I've had mixed results with using stop flash exposure adjustments instead of the camera setting the camera exposures. It "appears" to work sometimes, but it clearly does not. Even though it "seems" like the three flashes are correctly set for when I set FEB, it doesn't show up in the settings that I actually made a flash setting on FEB. 1 EV exposures, 0, 1 EV exposures, 1 EV exposures, 1 EV exposure These results are inconclusive at this time because I haven't finished experimenting in this area. br>br>Continuous flash also works well in giving continuous shots a stroboscopic effect. The built-in clear plastic light diffusion does a good job of softening the light on the subject, and I like how the auto zoom adjusts as you zoom in and out on the camera lens. It helps to keep the most light where it's needed the most, as well as giving the speedlite a longer flash to subject distance to work with. br>br>It comes with a plain black nylon drawstring bag. It is something I do not use. I purchased a set of three neoprene lens carrying pouches. The larger pouch is for my lens, the smaller for my Movo external mic, and the middle size is perfect for this speedlite. All of the pins are present and in the correct configuration for the Rebel T6i when looking at the bottom of the hot shoe. The excellent cost-to-benefit ratio appeals to me. in terms of quality High quality at a low cost. Overall, I really like and am very pleased with this flash; I'm glad I got it because it's been doing a great job for me. So far, I haven't had any major issues with it. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a good low-cost speedlite to add to their photo gear to consider this item.

Buy it

Open it. "Youtube University" is a great place to start. ”. Simply go out and purchase one. or two. (You'll need at least two. )br>If you're unfamiliar with flash photography, speedlights, strobes, or whatever you want to call them, go to "YouTube University," as I did last week, and start learning. They have the potential to change the game. While you're at it, pick up some 9' lightstands, diffuser hoods, and wireless triggers. This morning, I snapped the photo above. This was the first time I used speedlights in a shoot. I've made my decision.

TTL flash with a lot of power at a low price
5/5

This flash unit, which costs a fraction of the price of the Canon and Metz units, performs just as well as the more expensive Canon and Metz units. The TTL on this $50 flash is fantastic, and it works with my Canon 5D II. I've had the unit for a few months now, and I've been so impressed with it that I bought a second one. Time will tell if the unit outlasts the Canon and Metz models, but for $50, it's hard to go wrong. Also, the craftsmanship is excellent.

Exceptionally impressive flash! All around, there's a lot of flash
5/5

The LCD interface screen is very useful to me because it is simple to read and manage the settings, and it has a full legible readout. Batteries or an external port can be used to charge the device. Multi-mode shooting allows you to capture a series of movements with continuous strobe flashing, ensuring you don't miss a beat. The rotating bulb head and swivel base make this a great angling tool. The hot shoe mount is activated, allowing for better light direction and control. With my camera, I have a quick reaction time as well as recycling and recharging capabilities. The flash has a wide range of coverage, so it's not just good for close-ups, and it's a steal at this price.

For me, this device is fantastic
5/5

I'm not a professional photographer by any stretch of the imagination. I've only recently taken up photography as a hobby, but it's primarily for capturing priceless family moments. I was looking for a replacement for the Canon T6i's pop-up flash when I came across this low-cost, well-reviewed flash. For me, this device is fantastic. The sheer lighting alone has made my photos 10 times better than they would have been with the pop-up flash. It has a good build quality, is less expensive than brand-name products, and does the job. This purchase has brought me great joy.

This is an excellent flash
5/5

I've spent hundreds of dollars on camera-related items, so the price difference is significant. This cheap as hell one kicks ass (as it should, given its size) and flashes in the past. This one is massive in comparison to my previous flashes. Forget about trying to decipher the instructions, which are all printed in a foreign language. The font is in five points. I even used my iPhone to take photos of the pages, which I then enlarged to read. I intend to purchase two more to use as slaves.

For the money, this is the best POP available
5/5

Wow, that was a fantastic flash. My Canon strobe does not have a metal base, and neither does the hot shoe. Years ago, an off-the-shelf metal hot shoe cost extra. Light has a lot of power and a lot of quality. For those softer flash photos, the unit, like most, comes with a built-in bounce card. Learn how to use the bounce and watch your photos improve as the head swivels 180 degrees back and forth AND 360 degrees around. Purchase two for the same price and up the ante. I used these in the field while working for a large photography company.
