This cable is COMPLETELY compatible with the Canon EOS R5. I spent about two hours looking for this seemingly simple answer, but to my surprise, I came up empty-handed.

Cable that connects 5mm to C3 (3 pins). br>Intriguingly, the Canon manual makes no mention of the camera's connector type. I was unable to locate this information in any other source. It's extremely aggravating. Regardless, I purchased this cable, which worked flawlessly. It appeals to me because it is robust and, for the most part, SHORT. It isn't too long, which is fantastic. In addition, the materials appear to be of high quality. br>br>I hope this information is useful to those who will be in the same situation as me when their cameras arrive.

The only issue is that the plug is not the correct size as described in the description, so they added an adapter to make it the correct size. However, the adapter is not the best adapter, and having it on makes the cord stick out more than it should, making it very easy to bend or break the adapter.

Great extension wires for your camera to connect to any equipment that accepts that type of plug and wire, and the wire appears to be well insulated. On my Canon 5D III, it had worked flawlessly.
