There is no problem with it, based on my understanding. Honestly, I think that nikonusa is the reason for my beliefs. The BS-Code indicates that the Accessory Shoe Cap is what's compatible with D5100, which has been That's the hot shoe cap I ordered for my D5600 as well.
My D850 is equipped with a digital camera. I can't give you an answer about the D700. There is nothing I can do
It's not clear whether the D50 or D5000 is included in the Amazon information. In other words, while I would think a hot shoe is a hot shoe, it might not be. Neither camera has been used by me personally.

My camera is not always compatible with the instructions on the packaging. However, in this case, it looks great. There aren't many that meet that standard but this one does. There are two slats on the top that allow it to be easily slipped in and out.
I bought these clips for my Nikon d700 and they work very well. You don't necessarily need it, but when you're not using it, it protects the flash contacts.
I like how the hot shoe is protected and covered like this. It enhances the appearance of the camera.
The hot shoe cover that came with my D750 is missing. I bought these because they were cheap and worked. Those pants fit perfectly on me. This would be recommended to anyone needing to replace a broken cover (or in my case, to purchase a replacement).
These two apps were immediately used on my camera. It is very easy to blend them in. They are going to be removed, but I hope I don't lose them. cost a bit more than the hot shoe contacts, but that's the price we pay for protection.
The product was for the Nikon D810, which uses a similar hotshoe cover to those used by other digital cameras. The 2pk worked for me as I have two cameras that use this size and they are easy to lose or misplace.
To put it in perspective, it takes elbow grease to remove the included hot shoe cover on my D610.
When I lay them out, they grow legs and walk away. So then I have to buy more.
