The cold shoe is a great product, but I needed to make some modifications

I was initially disappointed that the material was too thick for the slide lock on my Godox V1 to fully engage (it has a much stronger lock than any of my other flashes), but it now fits perfectly after some filing. The black coating took the file some real force to get through it had to be really sharp and long to touch. There are just the right grooves to prevent pressure from building up on the flash contacts, and the stop screw is perfectly positioned. It is my only complaint that no 1/4"-sized holes have been drilled into the ceiling This camera was included with 20 screws hardware, but since I have tons of DIY camera junk around, this isn't really an issue for me. The future looks bright for these little guys as I am likely to buy more of them.

It is a little bit pricey, but it is high quality

It is a high quality metal cold shoe that I am using to attach speed lights to a 1/4 bolt. I have no issues with it and feel confident using it to hold flashes worth hundreds of dollars. Although I find the shoes somewhat pricey, I think they're worth the price. It's just that I love them.
