The quality of each smaller monitor mount is terrible. This is my third. Despite the fact that they claim that this mount can hold a 7" monitor, it requires constant tightening and can only support a 5 or 6 inch monitor. There's no harm in letting it loosen up a bit after a while. There is probably not enough friction for my monitor to drop if I don't tighten it once a day at least. It's been very long since I left a bad review on the other mount, and smallrig hasn't responded. It's been a while since I heard anything.
There are, however, little things that can go a long way. One less thing for me to worry about is ensuring that my monitor is securely mounted to my camera with an adjustable part. As you can see from the picture, this small but very important part was constructed out of the best materials and well finished. I examined the part very carefully after getting it in the mail for the first time. a variety of options available to you. The amount paid by some may be greater than that paid by others. In the end, I was pleased with my purchase after a meticulous inspection. With this part, you get high quality without spending a great deal. This is a piece of equipment I will always keep near me.

It was not clear if I'd like it or not -- I thought I might want the side-by-side view It is not possible to pivot on the side. Actually, it's much easier and more efficient to do it this way. The tilt mechanism on this is much less likely to break since it moves just up and down, and it turns out I don't miss the side-to-side motion. You can't tell that there is any side tilt. This was a bit smaller than expected (not sure why, I thought it would be bigger) but the quality more than makes up for the size. TWSS was also in the news at the time.

The top rubber at the 1/4 screw does get damaged if you twist your monitor a lot, so it is better to tighten it with a small tool than letting it get loose on the I own two of these mounts, but these two are the only ones I seem to like.
