It is true. As far as fitting the lens cap is concerned, no problems have been encountered
67mm filter adapters will fit the Tiffen 67mm filter, as well as any other 67mm filter, as long as you purchase one that fits your lens. The Tiffen 67mm filter is also compatible with other 67mm filters.

Considering that I have a lot of 77mm filters, I decided to replace them all at the same time. Since I am a professional photographer with a lot of volume on the go, I breathed a sigh of relief that the damaged filter protected my glass. That is, until I noticed not even a month later, with minimal use, that another lens with the same filter had a scratch about the same depth. Those scratches are not part of an expensive lens filter that I had on for years. A more expensive lens filter did not even come close in terms of length or depth. Even though I can't be certain that something in my bag wasn't sharp and scratching everything up, I definitely don't believe these filters perform as well as higher-end I think this will protect your lens from dust and finger prints if it only lives on a desk in a studio or has a relatively easy life, but I don't think it will be able to protect it if it somehow falls or gets hit directly. It's more expensive than buying a better protective filter, but I wouldn't buy it again unless I was purchasing a new lens and it was the only protective filter available. Something is better than nothing, but in this case I'd rather save my money and buy something.
It's a pretty weighty filter, and feels nice and weighty in the hand. I use my flashlight to shine light onto the filter and it changes color when I shine it on the lens, as if the lens has a coating. A microfiber cloth is the best tool to use for cleaning the lens. Dust and smudges are easily removed with a damp cloth. Further, this filter does not cause dust to accumulate on the outer edges of the glass like other filters. There are places where dust is extremely hard to remove. Breakthrough Photography filters are prone to this problem for me and I am glad it doesn't happen to this filter as well.
It is impossible to buy a better lens filter to protect your digital camera lens, and to reduce the amount of UV light from the sun. In spite of numerous complaints or disagreements, I have used Tiffen filters for 40 years without complaint. There is no comparison between this filter and other haze and skylight filters.
The November 2019 update has been made. The handler handles the lens in an almost surgical manner. It can be scratched badly with a simple microfiber cloth and lens cleaning fluid. Observable only when the sun is shining. The vehicle is in poor condition. The prime Promaster filter is the best thing to go with. Inauguration is scheduled for July 1st, 2019. I found it well made and a perfect fit. It is crystal clear and serves as a great addition for protecting the lens right out of the box. If there is ever a problem, I will notify you. Within a few days I had one for every lens in my collection! This is a superb product, the quality, price, and clarity are unmatched in any product I have seen. In the side by side shots, there are no filters applied. If you were not wearing a filter on your lens, you wouldn't be able to see it. There is nothing more pure than this glass! Having a silver/titanium finish is also appealing to me. Lens pops on a black background.
I have used Tiffen UV filters for years and have never had an issue. I decided to try the more expensive multi-pack of filters for my latest lens (67mm, 67mm & 75mm). It turned out I was sent a defective filter twice. The first arrived and I thought it was dirty, so I tried cleaning it multiple times before realizing the problem was actually in the glass (swirled pattern), so this was resolved after I contacted Amazon. My replacement arrived today and there is a very obvious chip in the glass, so I will also be sending it back. A chip was also present in the glass of my 82mm filter. I am very disappointed with the quality control on these items, so I will be looking for.
It has proved to be a very worthwhile purchase considering that I am not a professional photographer. I have a few filters I have bought over the years. This filter UV 77mm Digital HT is one of my favorites. In spite of the light conditions I have taken pictures that are of high quality. I have a Canon 120 f4 and Nikkor 80-400 There are 400 f4 in this camera. (again) based on testing I have done in the past, 6D ED) has already produced personal observations. This is a great filter, and I highly recommend it.
Using these filters does not seem to have impacted my images at all. I have repurposed their pouch to keep them safe from the elements The compartment is intended for a spare battery and a small SD reader (I do not plan to take out the filter anytime soon).
