Due to its high price, I was hesitant to buy this filter. However, I bought it after I noticed a few of my Milky Way shots were coming out monochromatic, even after post-processing. Most days, I simply cannot avoid light pollution due to the fact that I live outside the city. There is no doubt that the filter works, and helps bring out more natural colors in the Milky Way and surroundings As a part of a recent set of shots, I took one image without a filter, and these are combined in my review photo. The images were all taken using the same manual settings, and the color has only been altered by adjusting the brightness and contrast. The construction of the filter is top-down Rank up. My unit was also perfect in terms of optical quality.
This filter removes light pollution to a great extent. A lens filter of very high quality that accomplishes the purpose for which it is intended. I would recommend this book highly. As far as I know, these are my very first attempts at taking pictures of stars.
Is this what you want me to examine in a camera filter that is designed for night viewing? How about warmth and sheerness? In my experience with the filter, it makes a remarkable difference in how clear my nighttime pictures are, and the filter is well worth the price.
Thank you for making this filter available.
