What is the frequency of replacement?

This filter only needs to be replaced once a year in our home. I'm hoping this will help because we have a new house with very little dust.

What dimensions do you have? On the side of my current model 1510 filter, it says 36x28. The dimensions of 26x1x21 are listed in this filter. ?

38 x 28 inches is the correct size. It appears that you've made a mistake.

How big is this filter, exactly?

The filter is in the shape of an accordion. It will be delivered to you closed, but you must open it to use it. So, the answer to your question is that the model number is more important than the size.

This filter will work if your unit requires a 31x28

For those who are concerned that this filter will not fit their system because it requires a 510 MERV 11 or 513 MERV 13 or Model 1510 Size 31x28, this filter will work as long as it is an Aprilaire brand filter. The filter is an accordion type filter, and the size listed here on Amazon is smaller or may differ. It expands slightly to ensure that it functions properly. My unit required a model 1510 31x28, which took 3 minutes to install.

It's less expensive than buying two sets every three months because I only have to replace them once every twelve months. This filter is genuine OEM and performs admirably.

Installing it was a breeze

The item was delivered on time and in good condition. The instructions for installation were printed on the shipping box's side. The old filter was removed from the AprilAire enclosure on the air handling unit in the attic. New filter was expanded and slid into the filter housing's top and bottom tracks. The air conditioning kicked on without a hitch.

It is well worth the money. It's a great deal to get two of these filters. They're supposed to last a year.

It's pricey and requires a subscription service, but it's a fantastic product! For those who use this type of whole-house filter, this is an excellent product

My only complaint is that I wish this was available as a subscription service because it will always be needed and used. This filter can be used for up to 6 months before it needs to be replaced. Please consider allowing a discounted subscription service!.
