Not at all. Installs right on the front of the lens of a P900.
Although my first one came with a case, my second one came in a plastic bag. The distributor is the most likely to have an effect
My own personal reaction is that there is a certain amount of exaggeration here in terms of taking This style lens was purchased by me exclusively for the protection of my 67mm Nikon lens on my P900. As far as that is concerned. I'm very pleased with the work it is doing.

This is the second time I've had this filter with my Nikon Coolpix P900 since I bought it in June, and I've noticed some poor focus at the high end of its range (near 83x). was unable to figure out what was causing the issue. It did not work when I changed the aperture to increase depth of field, tried a monopod, etc. As I was doing the dishes today, I realized I needed to remove the UV filter. There you go! Suddenly, my autofocus worked much more quickly, and I was able to take very crisp photos. I would not recommend this product because it will lower the quality of your photos.
When this lens is used at maximum zoom, the camera can't focus properly. The zoom would be fine if you do not intend to use the zoom at extreme zoom levels.
Over the past 50 years, I have been using UV filters as a protection for soft lenses that are susceptible to dust, scratches and moisture. You must make this small purchase if you want to reap the benefits.
A lens cover is designed to protect your lenses, what can you say about it? I'm pleased with it it works well, does its job and protects my new camera lens well. Interested in more but couldn't find what you wanted.
The cover/filter do not work well. I find it to be well suited for a protective cover. Nevertheless, the picture quality is distorted.
Lenses are perfectly protected by the case, and it fits perfectly.
It is affordable and it does exactly what it is intended to do. At really far focal lengths, distortion might be noticeable. I have not had any problems with cross threading or the fact that it's hard to unscrew.
It is nice, it fits well, and it looks nice.
