Selected User Reviews For FujiFilm 256 MB xD Picture Card, Type M (600004661)
Fuji loves the xD system, and why wouldn't they when they're the only ones who make it? It's not bad, but you can't get it in the larger sizes that regular SD or even microSD cards come in. It functions properly with the Fuji Finepix camera I purchased for use at work. br>br>At the factory, we can transfer pictures off the card fairly quickly, so it doesn't fill up quickly; however, if I were using this for a vacation, a sporting event, or a concert event where I wasn't within a few yards of a computer to transfer pictures off the card, I'd have to buy multiple.
br>br>However, in order to use the new M type XD cards, your camera may require a firmware update. Until I upgraded the camera, I kept getting write errors. If you're a computer neanderthal like me, updating the camera's firmware could be a challenge. Everything is working now that I've finally gotten it to work. Moreover, some card readers are unable to read the new M type XD cards.
I have two of these, but only one is required! I always have room, and I can keep my camera on its highest setting to ensure that I get the best quality pictures because I never know what I'll want to enlarge, zoom in on, or crop. I strongly advise you to read it. a wonderful offer! It came quickly and in excellent condition.
I'd been getting by with the 64MB card that came with my camera for over a year. Finally, after looking at various offers, I decided to upgrade to this 256MB card, which I thought was a great deal compared to what I've seen them go for in retail stores. For some reason, XD memory is more expensive than other memory types. Anyway, I can now shoot as much as I want, at the highest possible quality. One note- To use this "type m" card with some Fuji cameras, you'll need to go to Fuji's website and update your camera's firmware, which I found to be very simple.
Worked.
For mailing, there was a need for more protection. The shipping costs are a bit excessive. The Vidio stick is a fantastic tool. The product comes at a reasonable cost.
Right out of the box, it did what it was supposed to do. I leave the card in the camera and download the images, so I can't say how long the contacts will last if it's removed frequently.
