It is determined by the number of pixels (resolution) in your images. Approximately 200 images are used on average. Videos use a lot more memory than photos on the card. br>If you're constantly inserting and removing the card from the camera, it's probably not a good idea to save all of your photos on it because the card will wear out. br>If you delete and refill pictures frequently, the memory on the card will degrade over time; I replaced mine after 6 years when the picture quality began to deteriorate.

I got the 256MB xD Picture Card M Type Fuji DPC-256MB xD Picture Card M Type Fuji DPC-256MB xD Picture Card M Type Fuji D M256 and it only worked for 5 weeks before giving me a fail message in my FinePix viewer program when I tried to download photos to my computer, and the photos were gone. I was fortunate enough to have saved my old card and was able to re-use it. Photograph the scene. The old card has been in my possession since I bought the camera in 2007, and it is still functional. I wanted to replace it because I was worried it would stop working after all this time, and that re-using it would degrade the picture quality. utilizing the card on a regular basis br>br>The 256MB xD Picture Card came in a picture card plastic case, but it wasn't the right size for the card (it's for a much larger card type), so it was rattling around loose in the case when I got it. The metal things were not covered by tape. I'm not sure if this played a role in the card's failure or if it was simply a bad card. br>br>I'm going to get a new card from a brick-and-mortar store. I prefer to buy my cards from a brick-and-mortar store because I know I'll get a good card that has been properly packaged by the manufacturer.
My camera fits perfectly and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I'm very pleased with the packaging, which arrived in about 3-days. Even though it said it would take a month, it only took 4 days after I placed my order.
I purchased an older Fuji digital camera from a thrift store, but it required an xD card to operate. They don't seem to be in wide circulation anymore, but a few sellers still have them. I've used this card before and found it to be trustworthy and adequate for my needs. I'm glad I was able to obtain one while they were still available.
