Questions & Answers

It takes eight AA batteries to power these devices. There are 4 V in the Sony original but the mean output is Is it a problem if the batteries are 8V when using What makes this camcorder different from the CX700?

As far as I am concerned, I have been successful in using all 8 of these. Batteries on my Sony camera that have an original battery capacity of 6V are 4V. Eight volts. There is a claim that Wasabi batteries have a higher

Can I order the unit with an adapter to use in the US and the EU or just the correct plug for the country I ordered it I'm just trying to determine whether an adapter would be useful. ?

In addition to the US adapter built-in on the back of the battery charger unit, the one I received in the US also came with a little EU adapter plug.

On and for the camera there was a place that listed both types of batteries. I have both a camcorder with a fV50 battery and a camera with an fH50 battery. Is it possible to interchange them?

In Sony's view, any camcorder dating from 2003 or later can be repaired Batteries that were used in 2010 models that used the H series or P series can be used in Based on the size, connection and voltage rating, I assume that they An Fh battery would not be appropriate for a unit designed for a Fv battery, in my opinion.

Although these batteries are good, they are hard to charge because they are too tight

As long as one Wasabi Charge lasts, it is almost as good as the original
5/5

With a single Wasabi Charge, you can recharge your device almost as long as an original Sony battery. This Wasabi battery is being used in my Sony Handycam CX-200 A continuous video record was made for about two hours and thirteen minutes with the Wasabi. Two hours and 23 minutes of continuous video recording were conducted with the Sony battery. There was a 10 minute difference between the Sony and the Canon. Also, the Sony original battery cost $50 per piece. At $27, you receive two Wasabi batteries along with a charger. In my opinion, I can live without the additional 10 minutes on one battery and still have a 24-minute run time on two batteries (four hours 26 minutes). Over time, we should see how well the Wasabi performs in terms of being discharged and charged. The Sony battery has performed very well in terms of charging and discharging.

The system works as it should
4/5

Several years ago, I received from Sony a hand-held recorder that has been waiting in my closet, unused. Toward the end of last year, I found it, and naturally, it did not To begin with, I thought I would buy a new battery. Therefore, I entered your advertisement for battery 2 packs As soon as I received the battery, I immediately charged it. I was thrilled with how it worked. In addition to watching these long lost films together with my family, I also enjoyed reading them. Your product is very well recommended, so I highly recommend it. I appreciate it.

The trade off The price is lower, and the battery time is less
5/5

I bought this package so I could have spare batteries for my Sony PJ340, and so I could charge them outside my camera as well as shoot video while they were charging. When I use this charger, the batteries charge faster than when I use the charger inside When I checked how much battery time I had with each of the 3 batteries after the most recent charge, they all appeared to be "full" according to the charger. My digital camera told me that I had 3 hours and 40 minutes with the original Sony battery and 2 hours and 40 minutes with the Wasabi battery. While I am aware there is the possibility that there will be plus or minus minutes in the field, I believe the camera when it Thanks to the Sony battery, you can shoot for a longer period of time. The story is not over yet, however. Sony batteries are available on Amazon for about $30 each. I would have had to spend about $60 plus the cost of a charger if I had bought two spares. Wasabi batteries cost less than the original Sony battery, so I got 2 batteries and a charger for less than one. Thus from a cost benefit standpoint, I am getting 5 hours and 20 minutes up from the two Wasabi batteries The following is the result after multiplying 40 by two There are a few discussions in the reviews about how difficult it is to put the batteries in the charger. If you read the reviews correctly, you will see that numerous people complain about it. There is good reason for this. Even though it took me a long time to figure it out, I almost gave up on the charger and resigned myself to having to charge the battery directly from If you look at the bottom of one of the batteries when you get the package, you will see a warning. In the bottom of the screen, two pieces of what appear to be track are visible. Each end of the pipe is wider than the one in the middle, with a narrower end in the front. There will also be what you recognize as the part of the battery that has to come into contact with the charger at the front. Please take a look at the device's bed. There is a small tab at the rear of the device that connects only at the front end to the charger. In addition to this, you will notice two small raised things, one on each side. If you look closely, you will see a small space between the top of the charger and the bottom. You will notice on either side of the two metal connectors on the front of the bed two of those raised things, one on either side, with a slit between the top of it and the bed. It is necessary to slide those track pieces in and out of the slits on the bottom of the batter. In the event that you have the battery not aligned correctly, you will not be able to make the Then set the battery down on the bed of the charger so the front of the battery is facing the front of the charger, resting against the metal pins and those two black things on either side of By pushing down on the battery so that the black tab near the back of the charger bed is pushed down on, push the battery straight forward so the tracks will slide through the slits and the contacts will connect to the contacts on the charger as you move the battery forward. The battery needs to be aligned and the wires need to be going straight forward, not angled. It will not make the proper connection if the latter is the case. If you are put off by the above description, remember, you will master it with practice. I have not had a charger as difficult to load, and I am sure all chargers dealing with this battery will do the same because they have to deal with the little track pieces on the bottom. I have one more thing to say. There is some resistance when it comes to getting the battery plugged in, even when everything is arranged correctly. It takes effort to push back the battery and to let it go of the charger once it is finished charging.

Compared to OEM, this is a much cheaper and great alternative
5/5

A review of the Wasabi Power Battery 2 Pack and Charger is presented in this article. The following summary provides a brief description of the report There is a Sony CX-70 in my possession The battery eventually died when it reached 360V. A $40-$50 investment would be more efficient I switched back to my Wasabi brand after spending $80 for a new one. Many people have strong opinions about after-market batteries, but I have used this brand for some of my cameras and it remains solid and seems to last just about the same amount of time as the OEM batteries. In this kit, I got two batteries and a charger which allows me to charge them both from a 110V AC outlet or a DC outlet in my car if I need to use them while on the road. According to the fit of the batteries, they are compatible with the charger that I received and fit my camera exactly the same as the original. I was not surprised. My personal preference with this brand is to go with Wasabi whenever I forget to replace my oem camcorder or camera battery. The following is a note A 6 volt OEM battery was in my vehicle. A current of 980mAh is supplied by 8V. The one here is an The battery has a voltage of 4V and a capacity of There have been no issues so far and when I looked around, a lot of the NP FV50 batteries available were all ranging between 7 and 8. There are 2 to 8 numbers. The 4th generation. I will update this review if I have any problems with this swap of batteries from OEM to Wasabi, as I do with all my reviews.
