The batteries work with the Hero 8, but they are limited to 30 minutes of usage and the hypersmooth features are not enabled. I picked up a great charger, but did not pick up the batteries for the hero 8.

Rather than simply a charger, this product has a lot more to offer. comes with a lot of features (memory card storage for two, memory card reader, two included batteries, three battery chargers, type C plug, carrying strap, and many more! )

This double charger by GoPro performs much better in every way and is cheaper and gives you more for less. A second important element is the battery itself. According to me, Telesin batteries are much better than Gopro batteries. Besides the fact that my Telesin batteries last just as long as OEMs, the most important factor is that they fit my Gopro Hero 7 Black perfectly and they're easy to remove when I have to charge them. My Gopro batteries swell soon after being used and it can be hard to remove them. As a matter of fact, I had already broken the Gopro battery tab before, which made removing the battery difficult. As far as I can recall, I have never experienced swelling from Telesin batteries, and the batteries The built-in memory card reader is one of the features I especially like about this product. Although I have included one in my pictures, a memory card is not included with the kit. I have just shown you where the card goes during reading and where it can be stored when not being used. The fact that you don't have to carry an extra card reader makes me very happy. This just makes traveling a little more convenient since one less thing has to be remembered to bring. Quite a neat feature, it charges up to 2 devices simultaneously, depending on the amps the plug in wall brick is able to supply. The indicator lights on the back of them tell when they are complete and the GoPro 7 Black just works great with it! We would definitely buy these again because there aren't any significant differences between them and the OEM battery. It has a cool feature to read the micro SD card if you connect it to the computer, and also a storage area for 2 more SD cards. It's an awesome gadget you will never forget so just do yourself a favor and get it!.

I purchased this kit because I needed a couple more batteries. It includes a charger that doubles as a carrying case and a micro SD card reader, as well as Having had it for more than a week, it has never failed me yet. It works as expected as far as the batteries, charger, and card reader go. I've had no problems with it at all. A very nice design and it works just as expected. Adding this to my GoPro cameras has been a great idea.

Whenever I see this, I can't get enough of it. So that the batteries do not deplete while the case is not in use, just rotate them in the case. With this charger, the batteries will not fall out in your bag like they would with other chargers.
