I have used this for a while now on my Red Epic and it has been a great purchase thus far. The price is half that of the more expensive brands, as well. Having said that, I'm one of those asses on set that likes their cameras to look impressive, these do not do that for me. My excitement was so great I 3d Printed a new cover for the top I might upload it later or link it somehow. The cringe for big sets will decrease by at least 40% if the sticker is peeled off. I would say again, if you care so much about the look of your camera package, you may be overthinking the whole thing. You might as well get something that actually.

I am pleased with the value of the product. My Atomos Ninja monitor and follow focus motor for my video setup are powered by this battery. The overall performance of the system has been extremely positive. Only thing I don't like is the website's metering system. However, this might also be a problem for all Gold/V- rated plans One of the problems with mounting batteries is that they tend to lose charge after sitting for a long period. When it has been left in a warmer environment than when it has been in a cooler, I can notice it more. Do you know what that is? However, compared to my slower charging L series batteries, the kit is fully charged and ready in about five hours with the included charger and lasts all day, so with the prep time for a client shoot, I haven't encountered any issues.

I am lowering this back to one star in revision #3. Charge has been stuck at 74% for the last 14 hours. The first shot went from 100 to 74 in 20 minutes - A total of about two hours were then spent in the race. It took only five minutes for the replacement to go from 100 to 48. Batteries lasted for a very short time. On my screen, I have the black magic 6k pro set to full brightness. Invest the extra money in a core or Watson or Anton Bauer so you are aware that the machine won't suddenly stop working on you.

Although it turned out to be an issue with the battery at first, the seller made it right, it is very difficult to find such a seller nowadays on Amazon. In terms of the battery itself, it is fine, the problem with the battery was with the usb port, which does not work consistently but I got a replacement (outside of amazon's 30 day return policy). I was provided with a refund by the seller. Take the time to read the fine print before you buy.

So far, both batteries have been great. A D- was assigned to each of them I am able to use only one tap charger for power since I am only using one. My monitor works just fine without a power cord, powered by the battery. I can't find anything to complain about In return for giving up your brand name, you get a huge discount off of other goldmount batteries on the market, which is far more valuable to me.

It is nice to see numbers displayed. is in good working order, as is the included D tap charger. It is fantastic to see on the screen when the battery is charging how much it still has left.
The battery on this camera seems to weigh less than the other batteries I have, so I feel like the camera package is lighter.
I have only used the battery once, so I don't have much to say except that it seems to take longer for it to charge up via D tap compared to other batteries that are charging on a

The display reads 5% when it comes out of the box, so I am returning it. The unit was charged as well as completely drained. 5% is always the same. On top of that, the USB port barely functions. With just a slight movement to the camera, the USB breaks. Furthermore, when the unit is mounted to my Core mount I find that it is a little loose. The slight movement of your external deflection will result in your external deflection Recorder and camera should be reset by tapping them together. Use of this site is not recommended for professionals. The Sony FS-70 is used as a test camera I'm working on Atomos Flame and 7 at the moment.
