ADT installed an ADT smoke sensor a few years ago, and I purchased these for the sensor. There aren't many stores in the area that carry them. In the end, Amazon provided the best price, even after shipping was added, and I received the items two days after placing the order.

When your device charges the battery, there will be problems as the battery will not fit and may not work at all. Rechargeable batteries such as the RCR123 are available. It is not recommended to use CR123 batteries

When I bought my battery tester a few weeks ago, I realized that you have to check them before you buy them, regardless of whether you are purchasing them in a retail store or on the internet. Who knows how long they have been sitting there before they are purchased.
There is no way I can live with the battery life these batteries provide. After purchasing these over six months ago after finally needing to replace the battery on my motion detector, I had to replace the battery that came with it. Four days after installing the first of these two batteries last Saturday, I am installing the second battery this Wednesday afternoon. I once again have a dead battery. My second battery has been installed, and if the second one runs out in four days I will return them to Amazon, if they allow batteries to be returned.
Do not buy it. This is a 2-piece set I ordered There are three of these batteries in the pack. Sadly, one of them had died. After ordering the two more I went ahead and ordered the third as well I requested a refund after packing. It is also likely that one from the second batch was dead. The product is garbage. Do not buy it.
During shipping, the batteries were packed in ziplock bags. Upon installing the motion sensor in the house alarm system, the alarm system indicated low battery charge and replacement was required. In a battery charging test, the "new" batteries displayed slightly more charge than the battery in the motion sensor that had depleted. As I read other reviews about this item, I noticed many complaints about defective batteries or batteries that did not last. Prior to ordering these, I would have liked to have read the 1 star reviews.
It appears that 1 of the 2 batteries is not working. The batteries last for only 3 days when I should be able to use the motion sensor for at least a year. There will be 1 start for the battery with a How long it lasts will be seen. It is packaged in a plastic bag, which is very poor. Unless those are old batteries, I wouldn't be surprised.
I finally found these guys. They are mostly used in 35mm cameras, I guess. However, I do not need them for that purpose. A pair of these batteries can be had for about 16 dollars at Walmart, and they're always out of stock. There is no way I remember what I paid for them, but they are definitely cheaper than Walmart, and come in a little ziploc bag, which is incredible! You can make your own special gift from this bag! It is the bartender's turn to speak. If you bite you, you'll find one on the ground. This is not something I can do again where we have to deal with ice.
