Heats up a lot. As I already own a gold mount charger that came with my Watson Pro gold mount batteries, I purchased this one to complement them. The charger seems to work quickly. I am not sure the led indicator on the unit is accurate for indicating when a charge has been completed (red on the led turns green during a full There is a lot of heat generated by this unit.
