As far as powering the camera is concerned, it is as advertised. If you are planning to use it for an extended period of time instead of taking stills, it could be fine. I thought this would resolve my problem, but alas it did not. This may well work for you if you are shooting stills in a studio (which is why I will keep it) but not for video.
Recently, I received the wired battery for Nikon D5200 DSLR, and it is working perfectly As a result, I will no longer have to worry about running out of battery power when I leave my camera on for long periods of time I can do this as long as I am stationary. The cord is also quite long, so you can move it around in a small area with ease. As a Nikon Coolpix owner, I was worried about it not working for my DSLR as the description says "Nikon Coolpix", and Nikon Coolpix cameras have number titles, just without the D Item 14a).
It has been a good start so far! In my opinion, it is quite useful if you use your DSLR for video recording while stationary. Battery life will not be an issue if it lasts a while. It is compatible with my D3300, D5100, D5500 and D7500 cameras The product would be purchased again without a doubt.
I have been using it with my Nikon D3200 without any issues. Although I originally thought it might not work, it did work on my Nikon with no errors. As long as my streaming camera is plugged in, there is no issue using this to keep it running. Thank you again. Will probably buy again someday when the current one stops How long I will be able to use this product is yet to be determined.
I have no problems using it with my Nikon D3400.
With a Nikon D5500 equipped with a Rode V-Mic, I am able to capture videos and still images. In order to shoot videos with the camera, I got the power supply specifically to use with that. It is fair and accurate to say that the power supply works well when taking stills, but, as other users have stated, there is audio feedback when using it for I did not notice any change using a high pass filter on my microphone, the feedback is still present. doing still shots in a studio, this product should be of use to you, but if you are trying to film videos, it is insufficient. I will need to return it because it does not meet my needs.
I thought the product was of good quality, was delivered quickly, and I could return it for free. My camera turned on fine the first time I used it, but when I switched it on the next time a message appeared on the screen "This battery cannot be used. ". Make sure the battery you choose is the one specified for My specs were higher than those on the original Nikon power adapter due to the milliamps output. It could be a warning to prevent the camera from overheating. I'm not sure, so I had to return it to the store. In the event that this warning flashes on the screen, the camera cannot be used.
In the past, I have done a lot of video recording on my Nikon D3300, and have had to deal with dead batteries during This was mentioned on a blog by someone who used their DSLR with OBS Studio and endorsed it. It is now possible to record videos forever until I stop recording. I also did a small session with it, and I found it easy to set up and keeps it cool.
