Nice budget option that ticks all the boxes.
I'll keep mine. Does the job well. Cables alone are worth the price tag. There is only one complaint I have about this door There is not much to say about them. That would be great, but if they fixed to the rail without affecting the hinge mechanism, that would be optimal. This kind of type of vehicle does exist, but it's not at this price. So it will be what it will.
Generally good plate, but can be hard to hold the battery at an angle below 45 degrees. Because my project was cancelled I had to return my order, but otherwise the plate is good if you are not going to spend more than $400.
The thing I was most concerned about was "bad voltage regulators", but it appears that it has been tested and is just fine. I measured it with a multimeter, and it works perfectly.
If you like You will find The battery plate mounts to any flat surface, and there are 5 power cables as well as a carry pouch with a latch. * B- for picking up a V Battery, and I needed a mount for my 15mm rod setup, so this was exactly what I was looking for. The setup is very simple. Simply determine whether you will hang the mount below or above your rails to get a good fit. In light of the fact that I didn't want my camera controls obstructed, I went with below. You should loosen the two blue aluminum locks and slide it Secure your V with a screwdriver, then tighten down Glue the battery to the mount. Place the V at the start of the line The click you hear when you seated it correctly indicates that the battery is mounted. You can also switch on the power switch on the side to verify power. A red LED will appear on the side. -On the side with the power, you have two USB ports that can be used to power two devices. The power side is the A, and the D+ side is the C *Use the cable that comes with the battery plate or bring your own in addition to the four outputs (15V, 12V, 8V, and 5V)
Use the cables that came with your battery plate. In addition to two standard tripod mounts, you get plenty of swivel mounts as well. The battery plate had 2 large holes (both on top and bottom)
And six other smaller holes (not threaded)
Tear down your battery. Connect all cables to a power outlet. On the power side, click in the round battery release button.
Remove the V-shaped connector from the battery. Glue the battery to the mount. Removing the rails from the blue locks requires undoing the screws. Placing it in a carry bag is recommended. I was glad to be provided with this carry bag (it's soft gray with a gray drawstring no padding)
I'm glad it was provided and now I can conveniently tuck it into my gear bag. A few thoughts about the overall experience
Measurement is I was able to easily lock it onto my 15mm rails. As far as I know, all the ports I have used and tested work properly. You can hear a clicking sound when you turn on the power switch. There are aluminum and plastic parts in the overall construction. I was able to use both threaded mounts with my In terms of power output and voltage, I find the different outputs very impressive. I am glad they provided the cables so I did not have to go looking for them myself. A bonus Black Magic cable is included in the package. The corners of this pencil are rounded, however there are two pointed ones. There is no liquid in this bottle, and it is only 14 1/2 ounces in weight. It should last me a very long time. Now I don't have to buy full sets of batteries for each device - I can use this device along with a few cables to extend my rig's run time.
I give it a thumbs Here's a photo to prove it The LED light panel, my camera, and the field monitor are powered up. I made up a setup and breakdown video as well. It is my hope that this has been.
There are so many different connections on this plate, and this is what drew me to it the most. With the 15 VDC output, the 8 VDC output, the 12 VDC output, the 5 VDC output, and the D- output, you can choose from any of these options It has 12 contacts and two USB ports along with the ability to shut off or on everything with a real switch. It feels pretty solid with the combination of metal and plastic built quality that seems to be quite high There were almost all types of power cord you could imagine included in their package. Every aspect of the system works flawlessly. There is nothing to complain about! They say this is for Black Magic cameras and they do include the appropriate cable, but honestly you could use it with any camera so long as you have the right power cord. I plan to use it with my GH5S rig in fact with a disposable battery to work off of. The cable should be tapped.
It comes with a lot of power options for different devices. It's a nice product. Various cables are included for use with different Its tilting forwards and backwards and its ability to mount in different positions is one of my favorite features Glue the battery to the frame. The solution more closely resembles an all-in-one package. That's what I love about.
As I wanted to make the rig more compact and be able to power the camera and monitor, I also wanted it to counterweight the camera. In addition to this, it can power my 70d even when I am taking photos with a dummy adapter, which is something I have never seen before *I'm not sure if it will work well for photography, as the power draw for video and photos.
