everything setup, but the thing that would have made the distinction between working and not working did not work. It appears that the Dummy Battery that I purchased for my Canon R5 is no good. It takes a lot of courage to give a bad review however, this one really stinks and is.

The first complaint I want to make is very important. I agree with the one other reviewer (at the time of my review) when he stated that the locking mechanism that holds the battery plate and battery at a specific angle relative to the 15mm rods is worthless unless the battery is within an acceptable range You can either do it horizontally or vertically. A camera that is moving naturally, e. g. Revolving at an angle with the battery plate attached, will cause the camera to move I find 45-55 A flat batter and plate will fall to the ground if the angle of tilt is a degree or more. One of the thumbscrews will loosen even more as the plate is flipped down. I note that the thumbscrews do not have the spring built into them so you can pull them out and turn them if they come in contact with another In addition to already compounding tightening problems, this problem only exacerbates them. Although not as tolerant as the one who wrote the previous review, this is an issue that cannot be lived with Powered by an A- battery, and will be relegated to a B+ It could be used with a camera or for some other purpose. In addition, the battery does not stay charged at a 45-degree angle As a result of the battery plate fluttering down due to the brackets incapable of holding it in position at an angle of 90 degrees, the bracket that engages the batteries has already buckled and appears to have damage to the paint. For the paint issue, I added small plastic washers between the rod bracket and the battery plate, which helped from the wear point of view but resulted in even poorer clamping abilities. I have to say this is an unfortunate flaw in the design, since the battery plate other than that is very well conceived. If you do not have rails for your camera you can use the 1/4-20 at the bottom to attach to your tripod if needed, or you can just set it on your desk like I did for a while. I mostly used it for my camera and external monitor. I've been using it pretty much all along, and I'm able to move my camera wherever I need it when I'm doing reviews or doing videos with talking heads. This device is a great device. I currently only have one at the moment My own battery is lighter, so I mount it myself. The battery in my (BP95) allows me to make a lot of videos before having to recharge it. I may be able to create a video in an area where I do not have access to an electrical outlet if we lose power or if I need to create video in an area where there is no power. The batteries in my lights and in my camera are energy efficient, but the power supply adapter allows me to shoot video for much longer periods than I would be able to on batteries supplied by my camera or lights. There is no need for me to carry around a ton of batteries. This is a great content creation tool and a great addition to the content creator's toolkit.

The best LP I've ever heard! With the E6 adapter I am able to run my Canon extremely easily. The mounts don't seem to be ideal (perhaps the "cinch levers" should It may be a good idea to replace them for more In addition, it comes with a bag for transportation, but it doesn't actually fit into When you put the tablet in the bag, the tablet sticks out about 1/8" past the end, making it impossible to even close the bag, let alone carry the accessories. It kind of sounds like a "huh?" I'm not sure I get it. There's something going on there that I'm not sure what it is. The product has a few issues, but is a good buy for the price. If you are bringing your own carry bag, you will need to provide it.

The plate has multiple outputs, including an LP-E6 It also has an E6 dummy battery that I can use to power my camera as well as an external monitor simultaneously. Overall, I'm really happy with the quality of this camera and have no reservations about using it for years to come.
