With DD, it works perfectly. The straps give you a lot of flexibility in terms of where you can put them. So far, it's the most comfortable thing I've ever had. Although a vest is available, I'm not sure if it would be more difficult.

If the bottom of the camera can be screwed with a tripod plate. The Cotton mount can be screwed in place. br>Basically, any camera that has that capability can use it.
Regrettably, the attachment beneath the camera body is round and will only fit the harness. There is another ARCA Swiss compatible attachment that screws below the sling mount.

Because I am a short, "curvy" woman, many camera slings and harnesses don't fit me well, especially when I'm using a long lens. I bought it for a trip where I planned to do a lot of hiking and hoped it would help me keep my camera handy while also reducing the load on my arms. Anything on my hip would bounce my camera around my knees, and anything on a backpack strap would be awkward, but I tried the Skout Sling out today and it's perfect. I have a 16" torso, so I secured the harness about halfway up my back. sternum. With my Nikon 200-series camera, I can easily walk. Hands-free 500mm lens with hood. It's a little awkward to get out of the holder at first, but it gets easier with practice, so I think it's just a matter of getting used to it. This harness had a lot of potential for me to enjoy it. The camera, on the other hand, does not secure itself to the harness. It sits in the mount and is held in place by the lens, which acts as a weight balance. The camera can be moved back up and out of the mount with only a little swiveling. While this system is great for quickly accessing your camera, it isn't so great when you're moving or bending over because the lens swings the camera around and it falls out of the harness mount. This was purchased to go with my Nikon P900 camera. The small bottom bracket was simple to set up, but the chest harness was a pain to get on. I had to completely remove the buckles, tighten the straps, and then replace the buckles. It was very relaxing once I got it set up the way I wanted it. You'll notice that the cameras in all of the photos are hanging parallel to the ground, but that is not how yours will hang. Even if you follow the instructions to the letter, the camera will hang on the heavier side. The stitching is ripping apart when using a long lens 500 with the weight of the camera; I used it while trekking and noticed that the stitching had ripped; I'm not sure how long it will last.
I've been looking for a hands-on project to work on for a while now. For a long time, I've been looking for a free solution, primarily for hiking and climbing, and this is without a doubt the best one I've found. It's a little more expensive, but it stays put and out of the way, and it appears to be very durable and well made based on my first few uses. If you plan on using it for longer adventures, keep in mind that it does (obviously) put weight on one shoulder, which can cause trap tightness. I usually travel with a Nikon D7100 DSLR and a large ultra wide angle lens. Though the full harness is probably a better option, I chose the sling because of its portability and breathability in hot weather. Fits under a 30 pound pack without difficulty. I've hiked up to 15 miles with it and experienced muscle tightness as a result of carrying the weight, but it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Keeps your camera safe while allowing you to walk around without holding it. br>The rain cover is large enough for a DSLR and stock lens, but it's a little small for a 100-mm lens. 70 or 400 Canon L lens, 200mm. The safety tether occasionally wraps around the camera when I put it back in the harness, which is the only issue I have with the product.
