I wish there was a way to use fractional stars. The product was well-packaged, and despite my fears when I opened the box and discovered it was quadruple-encased (Double Box, Plastic, Wax Paper), there was no odor! I've used Noico 80mil and Boom Mat 2mm, and while neither of these products are as good as Dei's, I'd put this on par with Noico. My main concern is that it is clearly not 80 mil, but rather 50 mil. Although I must say that Amazon is the only place where it's labeled as 80mil, no where on the packaging does it say it's 80mil, so I'm not sure if it's just the person who created the product page who's causing this problem. Because it's still a good deal at this price, but I feel like if I order one, I should get an 80mil product. I'm giving it three stars because I can't give it three. I'd go with 4 instead of 75. If it was 80 million dollars, I'd give it a five.

Good value for money; I bought it solely for the purpose of needing it for an upcoming car show, and it was delivered very quickly. Not bad, but I'll probably continue to use Noico products in the long run. I wish it was a little stickier, and it certainly wasn't 80mil as advertised.

This is the best product I've ever worked with; I wish I'd discovered it sooner rather than later. Those who complain that it isn't sticky enough should put it in the sun for a while before applying it.

I'm rebuilding a foot powerboat with an inboard V6 engine from the ground up, including an engine cover made of plywood and finished in marine vinyl. I needed to muffle the engine noise, so I purchased this insulation pack. The first thing I noticed was that it was fairly heavy, heavier than some other similar products I've used in the past, and it appeared to be well constructed. I measured the three inner box walls and top I wanted to cover and planned out the job after sealing the inner wood with elastomeric paint. Each mat is slightly less than two feet long. 16 feet by 16 feet You get ten of them if you measure in inches. I arranged them in the box and marked them with a pencil. I removed the backing and stuck the sticky side to the paint once I had figured out the best way to cover the interior. I customized the pieces I needed by cutting them out myself. With a pair of slender sheers, the look is completed. br>br>This made a noticeable difference in the engine's sound, and it also serves as insulation, preventing some heat from passing through the cover and venting the hot air out the boat's sides. br>br>This thin insulating material could be used in a variety of applications, including vehicles.

50/each. This is what I got for my rat rod's interior firewall. Regardless. br>br> It's simple to cut this stuff into smaller pieces. install. The adhesive is adequate; it isn't great, but it isn't bad either. We don't know if the glue will be able to withstand the heat of the motor in the long run.   Since installation, there has been a slight decrease in the temperature inside the car.   However, it's been extremely hot here recently, so it's unrealistic to expect significant progress when the weather is currently a major contributor to the problem. br>br>I wish it didn't have the logo printed all over it, but I'm not going to cover it up because I'm not planning on installing a traditional interior. For a pad that costs around $4, I'd say the quality is reasonable. 50/each. br>br>I hope my sage advice is helpful. This stuff is HEAVY for what it is, just like most sound deadening I've used in the past. Most have a bright aluminum face, but this one has a nice sleek black aluminum finish that I like, and it doesn't stand out nearly as much if it's not in a conspicuous location. It adhered well to the panels I used it on, did a good job of solidifying my panels, and eliminated the rattles I was experiencing with my system. I also used some on the floor board to help with exhaust drone, and it worked quite well. Overall, I like this sound deadening and would recommend it to anyone looking to silence exterior road noise and/or deaden rattles.

Initial Review: August 20, 2021br>br>I put this on my boat's engine cover. I started by removing the deteriorating egg crate foam that had been there for ten years. I prepared the surface so that this material would adhere. I then used a roller to apply the sound deadening material to the engine cover, making sure it was well form fitted. When I was out on the lake in the boat, I didn't notice any difference in sound levels. However, I am unable to comment on the quality of this material. Without any sound deadening material to compare it to, I had no idea how to operate the boat. br>br>Before replacing the material, I should have taken db readings.

This product is effective and simple to set up. The protective backing easily peels away from the adhesive layer, and the adhesive sticks to the metal and plastic surfaces of my car interior almost instantly. To try to reduce the volume of a new turboback exhaust that was louder than I wanted, I installed this in my trunk, center console, and rear doors. The exhaust tone and volume were noticeably different as a result. One pack was sufficient to cover the majority of the trunk floor, door panels, and a few other areas where I thought sound dampening could be beneficial. It's simple to cut - br>br> When you cut with the backing on, the adhesive won't stick to your scissors. It's a snap to cut to size and shape because of this.
