Only the capacitor came with ours; there was no connector. We didn't change the connector because it was still there. I'm not sure what it's called or what size you'd need; all I know is that it's not in the package.
I got mine on the 21st of May. It's a Chinese product.

The item worked well and deserved a higher rating, but double-check the component's dimensions. Although the connection posts were correct and the component appeared to be identical to the one I was replacing, the item's diameter was slightly larger than the capacitor housing of the motor I was repairing, preventing it from fitting. br>Once again, if you know your measurements, you can buy with confidence. I was the one who had caused the problem. If the electrical and physical compatibility is there, it works perfectly.
This one met all of my requirements, and it arrived the next day. Because my pool was broken, I decided to try this one. Despite the lack of packaging (it was just plastic wrapped), it arrived in perfect condition, and my pool was back up and running in less than 5 minutes. As a spare/backup, I intend to order another.
I turned off the pump, but it wouldn't turn back on, only making a humming noise before tripping the thermal switch. I tried the pump again after it had cooled down. There was no start, only a humming noise, so I called the pool place, who said it needed to be replaced. I removed the start capacitor and used a voltmeter to check it, and it read 0 volts. I ordered this cap, and it arrived on time and in good condition. The pump was set up and started - There were no problems at all, and the system has been running normally for the past two weeks.
My pool pump had stopped working all of a sudden. Employees at the pool store advised me that I should probably replace it. I saw a YouTube video where it was suggested that I check the pool pump capacitor, which is housed in an enclosure on top of the unit. The capacitor was indeed swollen, and when measured with my meter, it read "Open. " Anyway, I replaced the capacitor, and now everything is working perfectly. Instead of spending $800 on a new pump, I spent $13.
br>Recently updated; Because it failed after 45 days, it's possible that the tighter fit caused more heat. I changed to a unit with a smaller frame.
It was incredibly simple to install on my pool pump and saved me hundreds of dollars in repairs. I just had to remove two screws from the top of my Hayward/Centurion pump and unplug the old capacitor. br>br>Before installing the new one, make sure the power is turned off and the old one has been discharged. So far, everything has gone well!.
I wanted to make sure it was still working before writing a review, so I waited a while. So far, everything has gone well; it was simple to set up and has been performing admirably for a few months. In fact, the pump is probably in better shape than it has been in years, so it was a wise investment.
I was about to replace my pool water feature pump when I discovered this start capacitor. My Jandy WFTR120 will not turn on; it hums briefly before shutting down. I saw a video on YouTube from a pool guy recommending that the start capacitor be replaced. My waterfall pump came back to life after I plugged this bad boy in; what else can I say, $13 solution vs. $500 quote from a pool service company.
