Questions & Answers

It has been reported that this device lowers the volume of Is there a decrease in volume as a result of this? What percentage? Why 50 percent?

There is a Pacific- A website claiming to be an audio website claims to have an insertion loss of I believe that this is the meaning of 3dBA (the sentence is cut off, but it is what I believe The results correspond to a power loss of 13% (Note This is not the case for most dB values, and more than 13% of a perceived volume is less than 10%. Power is not linearly related to how loud something sounds in the human ear)

My satellite radio produces an engine whine. Can this product help reduce that noise? Using an adapter hooked up to the cigarette lighter, a satellite radio can be operated. Inputs on the car radio are used to connect the audio. ?

Yes, in the vast majority of vehicles. Sadly, Cadillacs do not exist.

Does this solution work for reducing buzzing caused by car microphones, too?

That seems unlikely to me. It is not supposed to be a ground loop isolater, but it does exactly that. If you plug your phone into the 3 port, for instance, this will reduce the power consumption. With a 5mm aux, you are able to hear music It creates a lot of noise when you have your phone charging at the same time. With a ground loop isolator, this problem can be resolved. It is pointless to isolate the microphone unless it is a powered microphone, as it does not matter if it is connected or not.

If I have a 50 feet run of RCA speaker wire from my computer to my stereo, would it be best to place this device there or at the computer? In what way does it need to be grounded?

There is a lot of issue with 50' of RCA cable. Wouldn't it be easier if you could move closer to the stereo and use shorter RCA cables? Additionally, I would strongly suggest switching from bare rca wire to shielded wire. It is more expensive, but will help (not as much as going from 50' down to

The little bit of help I received was actually surprising
3/5

It would be nice if it came in a more attractive The update is A 3 has been assigned to the rating. After playing a few more games and using it a bit more, I rate it 5/5 stars. Despite the reboot, it still seems like there is a buzzing/static noise. I have to use balanced output cables, but it's not nearly as bad as it was before. I still get static/buzzing at max volume if I use unbalanced cables (RCA) to my monitors. In any case, if I use a ground loop isolation device, it won't affect the quality as much as it would without it. While I had hoped it would eliminate the buzzing completely when using RCA cables as inputs and outputs, this has not been The product does help eliminate or reduce the buzz when using RCA/unbalanced cables. However, it does not get rid of it forever. As a result, I am still going to use it since it almost completely eliminates monitor buzzing when I use balanced cables. It would be better if RCA cables could be used as well. I'm sorry*. I'm sorry*. I'm sorry*. I'm sorry*. I'm sorry*. Here is a translation of my original review The case would be nicer if it came in a better looking box, but that's probably not possible considering its contents. I also have a problem with the packaging. It's not a new discovery for me.

Somehow, when my 1070ti ramps up and the fans start to run the fans are really loud. It seems the 305 monitors from JBL are emitting an unacceptable amount of static/buzzing. Based on what I can gather, it appears to be either the motherboard or the power supply (most likely). way is fine with me. There are ground loop isolators on the market that can be purchased. A review led me to kript, and then something about this led me to this one. I had been planning on getting anker, but then I read a review pointing me to kript. I only experience buzzing when I'm using a NON-standard connection A balanced cable set such as 3 with my AG03 is appropriate. An RCA cable or a 5mm cable is recommended. In addition, I don't get the buzz when I use balanced xlr or 1/4 cables. RCA worked for me until I attempted to use it for something else, but it buzzed. A solution to the problem is provided by this product. Utilizing the JBL LSRB305 and the Nobsound NS-300 This is my 05p, as well as my PC

I have not run any special tests, but it seems great so far. Since all of the other ground loop isolators would work just fine, I don't see any reason why I shouldn't try one of them. It seems that most of the reviews are positive. There is no doubt that this package is the most shady. There is only one thing that really concerns me and that is that the cables coming out of the plastic box are not secure enough to use at all. It might be a good idea to (If it is safe) adhere them to the wall to ensure they are I'll close with a final thought. I now wonder whether I would have been better off just getting the anker or mpow. . Get a $5 discount.

No sound attenuation is required to achieve excellent noise removal
5/5

As the owner of a 2006 Acura fitted with the GTA car kit, the alternator whine while charging was getting to me. Even after reading the reviews, I still had some concerns regarding this device. "1) Will it work backwards?"? 2) Will it attenuate the
As a result, here's what I learned The system most definitely operates in the reverse direction. The car kit mandates that the signal from my phone be put into the output side of the device. I did not have a choice on how the signal would be communicated. As soon as I noticed, things improved dramatically. However, the whine is still there, but I have to turn up the volume to 30 to hear it even during pauses in the Due to the fact that I usually listen at ten I was not able to hear this no more than 15 decibels, which was ample for me Here's the problem. My purpose for using the product was perfectly met, the whine is not audible at idle during quiet periods between tracks, and the whine is not audible at 60+ mph during quiet periods As several reviews mentioned that this cut audio and killed frequency response, I was very concerned about it. As the music was all the same loudness and using the "8 Mile" soundtrack as a test album, the bass response was It was crisp and clear at the top. I could not detect any attenuation in sound with this device. One thing I would suggest is that the jack sleeve be a bit thicker for a solid fit into my phone's headphone jack when I wear the case. In order to make sure I have a good connection, I need to remove the case. This nearly caused me to dock a star, but it is not really a defect with the device. If your phone is charged and you are listening to Aux-in while it's charging, it will whine loudly. Don't hesitate if you're considering this device and are on the fence about it. works perfectly, and it works great as well.

As a result, I was able to fix the noise/squeal issue at the expense of accuracy
4/5

I really like this product. Every time I moved the mouse, I heard a nasty squeal on my PC after using the line-in port to connect my XBOX and XBOX 360. The sound was like someone stabbed my ear every time I moved the mouse. This ground loop noise isolator was placed between the audio out cable from my source and the line-in port on my PC and brought the squeal to a halt. However, it does seem to have removed a notable portion of the audio signal's "low end". In the end the result is imperfect, slightly tinted, audio that has to be "fixed" with the OS' EQ settings. If you know your way around, it's not a problem, and it's better than dealing with the horrible noise a raw signal emits. If I were to purchase this exact product again, I would do so without a doubt.

I did not do what everyone said I should
3/5

A few weeks ago, I installed an FM modulator in my car so I could listen to music on my Android phone through an aux port. In doing some light research, I learned the static I experienced when plugging my aux cord into the USB charger while the aux cord was plugged into the USB charger was caused by a ground loop, and this device was intended to fix it. Is the static gone now? There has been a change, but it replaced by a high-quality model Wheeping sound that is equally, if not more annoying than In an effort to see if it would work better with the Bluetooth adapter, I put it through the USB port. This device for some reason draws significantly more power than the Bluetooth audio, yet the tracks misshape when plugged into it. A few tracks will be so soft that you will barely be able to hear them, such as some vocal tracks, or guitar solos, for example. Nearly every song doesn't sound like it used to.
