Yes. The primary image for the bracket only shows one of them, but there are two. The brackets connect the stereo to the faceplate, which connects to the car dashboard, and there are two on each side.
Any double din can be used with it.
Yes, it comes with a pocket. One caveat: the opening appears to be narrower than the DIN standard; I have a single DIN radio and had to shave off the edges to get it in. Bringing my stereo in from the back would have rendered it useless. It is possible that your results will differ. Cheers.
Standard single DIN and double DIN stereos are compatible with our stereo installation kits. They'll fit a double DIN stereo with a maximum face size of 3 13/16" x 6 13/16" Some aftermarket stereos have oversized screens because they do not all have the same size screens. To complete your installation, Scosche also offers the ST01B wiring harness and the VWAB antenna adapter.

br>br>I just bought this a couple of weeks ago.
For a period of two months, the Pioneer DMH-II The W4660NEX has been installed in a 2008 Smart Car Cabrio using this Scosche ST2430B with no issues. Overall, this is a good match for me. There were two issues with this. The Pioneer DMH-II is the first of its kind on the market. When I installed the Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX, I was able to get the Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX to work. On the bench, there was a gap between the top of the Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX and the top of the Scosche ST2430B. W4660NEX and the Schosche frame's interior. I couldn't see the gap between the Pioneer DMH-100 and the new unit after it was installed. The Scosche frame and the W4660NEX. The second issue I had was that when I installed the Pioneer DMH-100, it didn't work properly. The new receiver's top appears to be resting against the radio insertion hole on the W4660NEX. Rather than resting where the factory radio used to be, the Pioneer DMH-100 appears to be pressed down slightly. W4660NEX. It all came together nicely. This could be due to the fact that this was my first radio installation.
I've never seen a smart fortwo vehicle with this type of screen installed, and it took me almost a week to find the perfect match. Unfortunately, I couldn't, so I took a chance on this product because I already had one that looked similar but didn't fit this screen, so I had to kind of force it in, but it worked out and I'm happy with the result.
When I tried to use the screws that came with the kit, the posts into which they were supposed to be screwed cracked because the screws were too big for the holes. br>I used a 3/8" drill bit to enlarge the holes in the posts so that I could use the included screws. I also found some longer screws to thread into the cracked post to keep it secure. br>The bracket looks good when installed, but be wary of the screws they provide in comparison to the hole size, and the plastic itself could be better; there are plenty of plastics out there that bend before breaking. They aren't used in making this.
I have a 2012 Smart with the standard radio, and it will not fit without modifying either the plastic in the kit or the OEM stereo plastic frame (which I would never do). I'm sure I can use a dremel on the kit to make the OEM parts fit back around it, but it's a pain that this says 2008-2009. up, and it's most likely only for this year- I've been unable to locate a fit for the 2012 on any website, so it appears that modifying it with a dremel is my only option. However, because the dash is slightly different on the 2012 with the nav system or upgraded radio, this may work.
It's very simple to connect a din radio to a Smart device. NOTE: Because I purchased several products for the same upgrade, I'm posting the same review with links for each one. br>br>I was replacing the double-sided tape. My Smart 451 Fortwo has a factory radio with two dins, and.
