I bought two of these for my boat and couldn't be happier with how simple they were to install and use; I haven't connected the button lighting wire to either of them yet, but I don't do much night boating, so that feature wasn't a big deal to me. You can also buy a $5 3 for anyone who is curious. To run two of these, you'll need a 5mm jack splitter, but depending on how many remotes you're trying to run, you might need more.
Seller responds quickly, and the product is of excellent quality and value.
According to the Kicker website, the product includes a 25-foot extension cable. It came with a 16-foot extension, which is 6 feet less than I need to replace a Clarion unit. Extension cords are not available for purchase. I'm attempting to resolve the issue with Kicker's customer service.
Waterproofing and resistance are not as good as advertised.
A nice addition to the boat's transom. It's simple to connect and comes with the necessary wire.
