Questions & Answers

Is there a total of 4 or 6 pins on the connection?

I'm not sure how many connection points there are on a single 1/8'' pin.

Will this remote work if I have a bta850fh?

No, it won't happen. The remote is compatible with all 100 watt and higher power outlets. I have the 850 and purchased the remote without realizing it would not work with it.

Is it possible to use this on a Rockford R500? Because the jack is the same, why is the amp the same?

It has to work together.

Is this compatible with the MTX TC2002 amplifier? Mine didn't come with a control, and this one looks to be the same type of push-in connector?

It has to work together.

In your car, this will come in handy
4/5

This is a simple three-wire potentiometer packaged in a convenient plastic box. It allows you to adjust the Bass Tube level while driving. The usable range of the control appears to be at the start 25% of its rotation. Beyond that, the amplifier's level control on the Bass Tube appears to be set to its maximum setting. Even with that limited rotational span, I find it extremely useful to be able to better match the sub woofer to the type of music being played musically. This model of remote control is for lower-powered subs that are easily overdriven. As a result, I'm finding myself using this tiny knob. br>However, there is one caveat: A two-circuit 1/8" mini plug is required for my 8" Bazooka sub (Tip - Ring - While shopping for it, it was shown that way in the product picture. Following the completion of my order, the purchase confirmation page displayed a different image of a two-contact, single-circuit plug. I contacted Amazon customer service, who assured me that the image on the shopping page was correct, which it was when it arrived in a timely manner. br>One more remark: The higher powered amplified Bass Tubes do not use this control. The RJ12 home telephone connector is used on that two-knob unit. br>Within their design scope, I find these SAS products to be quite impressive. Despite the fact that I only have the small 8" units, they perform admirably in terms of filling out the bottom end of my work van.

Controlling the bass level of the Bazooka bass tube is a nice feature to have
4/5

My stereo is from the factory, and too much bass will make it sound distorted. The rest of the audio should be amplified. Because each artist was recorded in a different setting/environment, they will require different bass/treble variations. When the amp gain is turned up to half-power, the remote becomes a little sensitive. If the gain is less than 1/4 amp, the circuit will be insensitive. It's necessary to strike a balance. I found that turning the bass up to about halfway and keeping the remote almost all the way down worked best for me. I'll be able to turn it up as needed this way. It only takes a slight turn to notice a difference. br>br>As an alternative to my Bazooka tube, it was a good investment for the price.

Remote Bass Control by Bazooka RBCM100 It's fantastic
5/5

For appropriate Bazooka tubes (which start at 100Watts), this remote allows continuous/analog bass boost adjustment. I have one of these in my Subaru Forester, and it already fills the car to capacity, so I keep the volume dial set to the lowest setting possible. The following are some of the significant advantages of a 100W tube over a 50W tube: You can use this to remove the level control, and you can also use it to remove the level control. Cross-sectional area is much lower. On the tube, there is an over point. With this remote control, you can adjust the volume without having to reach for the tube while driving(!). ) and experimenting with its level control. This is a great product that does exactly what it says on the tin.

Excellent value for the money, but there is still room for improvement
5/5

This accessory used to be made of metal, based on what I've read in other reviews on this site. To be clear, it's now a solid piece of plastic, with the exception of the brackets that hold it in place: These are made of metal. br>br>However, another metal feature of this device is its ability to turn your booms into bumps, boops, bumps, and booms again with the turn of a dial. This convenience is unbeatable in terms of price. The cable is long enough to reach from the front of the mid-section to the back of the mid-section. with some slack left in the back of a full-size SUV br>br>The only issue is that the device's sensitivity isn't very high. It's best for muting an overly boomy song. However, there isn't much of a difference between turning it all the way up and turning it about 2/5ths of the way up when you crank it all the way up. br>br>It would be great if there were little hash marks along the dial so you could see exactly what level you're at in a glance. I created my own hash marks, which improved the usability significantly! br>br>Overall, a fantastic product that you should purchase.

A straightforward assessment
4/5

This is a convenient way to control the output level of applicable bazooka bass tubes from a distance. Mine is located near my left knee, under the dash. The cable for the dial control is directly connected to the housing, and the other end has a 3. The amplified bazooka has five mini stereo male connectors on the back. br>br>Once you've got your head unit dialed in (bass, mids, highs) and the bass tube volume set, you won't have to fiddle with the volume control much. Yes, being able to turn down the television if it's playing too loudly or drowning out the other frequencies is beneficial, but it's usually the music volume that needs to be reduced. In the original recording, the bass tube simply fills in the lower to low end frequencies. br>br>In any case, the remote bass control unit does what it's supposed to do, but it's not really necessary in my opinion. Yes, being able to adjust the tube's volume on the fly is convenient, but you'll only need to do so on rare occasions. br>br>The construction quality ranges from fair to excellent. The cable is long (but make sure it'll fit in your installation). Would I suggest it? br>br> Yes. The reason for this is that because it is cheap enough to have the convenience if you ever require it Is it necessary? br>br>Do I believe it is? Def not!.

It's a knog, as the name implies
4/5

but it was well worth the effort It's difficult to love a Knob, so I'm giving it four stars. Hey, it controls the bass level in the bazooka tube, which is all it's supposed to do. It comes with a lot of wire, so it's easy to put it together. If you're getting a bazooka tube, I'd recommend getting one so you don't have to change the batteries on the tube.

Control for the Bazooka Bass Tube
5/5

Nothing to connect - this is a fantastic product. Simply connect the Bazooka to the 1/8 connector and run the switch to the front of the vehicle. Easy. Because each source is so different, it's nice to be able to control the subwoofer volume. My Ipod input and CD sound fantastic, but the radio is awful and needs to be adjusted. This is a fantastic addition to the Bazooka tube, which is already fantastic!.

It's a nice bonus
4/5

My Bazooka's bass level can be adjusted, which I really like. The only issue was that the mounting plate was extremely small, making it difficult to install under the dash or below the radio due to limited space and tiny screws, etc. I recommend drilling very small pilot holes first before attempting to install the screws, as this will make the process much easier. If you don't mind, you can always install the box with double-sided tape or velcro. These options should also be good because it is small and light weight.
