Questions & Answers

I'm looking for a crimper for a telephone plug. ?

"RJ11 Tool" (without the quotation marks) is a good search term to use. ), and you'll be presented with a number of choices. RJ45 Ethernet connectors, for example, are compatible with many tools. If you plan to do those types of wiring terminations in the future, the more universal tool might be a good investment. If you're only going to put in four lights, you can skip this step. conductor ribbon cable for flat analog telephone ribbon cable, one of the basic RJ11-compatible RJ11-compatible RJ11-compatible RJ11-compatible RJ11-compatible RJ11-compatible It will suffice if only tools are used.

Is this the same RJ11 that the Valentine 1 radar detector uses?

Valentine 1 radar detector is a name I'm unfamiliar with. As a result, I am unable to respond to your query.

Are these compatible with the cord jacks on the handsets?

These aren't for a handset cord; they're for a line cord.

Wire for RJ 11 Phone Jacks (Flat and Round) (October 2020)
5/5

Because there is only a minor difference in design, I'm going to write the same review for both items. br>You can see how they're packaged in one of the photos. 50 plastic bags are available in a variety of colors and sizes. One bag ends in FS and the other in RD, as you can see from the numbers across the top of the bags. It could only mean "flat" and "round," in my opinion. I tried to show the only difference I could see in the other two pictures. Because the one designed for round wire has a slightly larger opening than the one designed for flat wire, you could use the larger one for flat wire; the connection would be the same, but the fit would be a little looser. On its way to the crimping tool, the connector wants to fall off! When using a flat connector with flat wire, this does not happen. They were literally made for each other. br>In the flat one, I didn't bother trying to get round wire. You might be able to squeeze it in, but keeping twisted pairs, for example, in the correct order is difficult enough without trying to cram them into a tighter space. br>They crimp well in the tool I also purchased from Amazon (see separate review), "click" well in phones or jacks, and appear to be everything they are supposed to be.
Oh! No, before loading the jack, you do not need to strip the individual wires. You place them in the correct order in the back. As far forward as possible, the crimping will force the gold blades to connect. There's an art to getting just the right length of exposed wires out of the jacket so that it can be crimped in place for added support, but that's about it. It's not difficult; hopefully, I'll never need 50 of each, but at the very least, I'll have plenty of opportunities to practice and make a few errors!.

The male jack won't stay connected to the female port because the fin is too short
3/5

These terminators do, but the crimoer and I had no issues with their ability to Peirce the wire; however, the fin responsible for holding the jack into the port is too short; not the handle per se, but the brace that specifically holds it into the female port. If you press it all the way in, the connection is made; at rest, it is dead. The tab is only 4mm long, as opposed to 5mm for other standard Jacks.

Very pleased with how well they work with stranded flat modular cable and how securely they are crimped
5/5

The RJ11 crimp-on connector is a modular connector that can be used in a variety of applications This bag of 50 will probably last me over a year - on plugs work great for my occasional use around the house and in my IT practice - I don't use connectors on cables very often, but when I do, I want them to be strong and reliable. br>br>I've had a lot of success with RJ11 and RJ45 crimp-ons. Some of that may have been due to the tool, but I haven't had any issues with these. I've strung eight of these on cables and they've performed admirably thus far. I used standard 4 conductor flat commodity modular phone cabling, which is widely available. br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be It's important to note that these are for stranded cables. I have some old solid copper cable in the house that will not connect to solid wiring. br>br>These RJ11 connectors have exceeded my expectations. They make a strong and secure connection, and they work well with my budget-friendly crimping tool. They are an excellent value at a low price, and I give them five stars for that.

Everything is in order
5/5

A unique tool is required. It was exactly what I expected. Because I couldn't find a smaller pack, I ended up with 50 instead of the two I needed. br>br>At my place, I have a VOIP line (ooma), so I decided to try out the fax feature on my new printer. There have been no connectivity issues with the cable I made with these. br>br>It's important to remember that crimping these in the wire requires a special tool, which I use and love:

Delicious and juicy! It's an RJ11 connector bag! My rash went away, and I was able to customize the lengths of my Valentine One cables by tying ends to a phone wire

They were exactly what I was looking for
5/5

I bought the Monoprice RJ11 6P4C Plug Flat Stranded, 50-Pack from Amazon. For my high school quiz bowl team, I purchased a piece/bag (107268) to use on a set of Qwik Pro lockout buzzers. I was able to remove the old clips, which had broken a long time ago, and crimp these onto the old cords (crimper sold separately). These have worked flawlessly and have done exactly what I needed them to do, with enough left over in the package for replacements and the odd user-service call. When I tried to attach the first couple, I put them on backwards, which resulted in an error. I found the price to be very reasonable, and I am completely satisfied.

It won't stay in place if you try to latch it
3/5

Although the 50 count per package is ideal, the darn things will not latch in place once installed. It's the equivalent of having a plug with a broken tang. as is the case with the one that is being replaced Useless.

It was exactly what I was looking for
5/5

It does exactly what it says on the tin. I needed to make some shorter phone cables, and these connectors were perfect. On flat cable, these are fantastic. I think I used about half of the pack, and they all worked perfectly. It comes highly recommended!.
