Questions & Answers

Are there retail packages available?

The box is made of hard plastic. The item appears new, but it almost immediately falls apart. In the three cases I returned to Motorola, all of the replacements they sent do the same thing? It was not clear why they did not understand. The company is currently replacing the model with an entirely new one.

You have a problem with Bluetooth?

The device has worked perfectly for about a month and always connects automatically when I turn it on. There have been no problems setting it up with my iPhone either.

How do the Motorola boom 2mh003 and Motorola hx600 boom bluetooth headsets differ from each other?

* Boom 2 has a 7 hour talk time on the HX 600 According to its voice menu, the Boom 2+ has a talking time of 7 hours. The headset from Motorola is advertised as having 9 hours of talk time "9-" on the voice menu, but it is actually sold as having 9 hours of talk time. You can talk up to 8 hours and use up to 8 different apps "Days on standby" *br>I'm disappointed that talk time is so much shorter, but they're still better than

The only sounds I hear are two tones. I don't get voice prompts. When I hold down the call button I have tuned the device on. One returned, one returned, and one returned, does it as well?

It appeared that the older version was working The sound quality was very low and tinny, and I did not like the way it sounded. But there was a voice prompt. Based on my own experience. I think Motorola needs to take a step back and use older

A great deal of disappointment
3/5

By making a good product unusable, Motorola made its product My wife and I own all the Boom models and have used them Because of their long battery life and good sound quality, all three Boom products (Boom2, Boom2, and Boom 2+) are excellent choices. There were, however, at least four defects in each of them I.

1. The boom piece breaks at its connection legs, and 2. The boom piece breaks at its connection legs, and 3. They break the ear hooks and the swivel barrel, as well as the circular sawtooth ring on 1.
2. It is possible for the ear hooks to cause pain. You can get an ear irritation from the end piece. Four (4). There is a lot of volume and it is uncomfortable to listen to. BOOMs had three great qualities 1. They are loud and they are dynamic. The quality of the sound is excellent. The middle class is wealthy It is toned. 3.
In the case of multipoint (two phones), the earpiece would announce "Phone One connected" and "Phone Two connected". *With the first two of these good points gone, the signal range is between 50 and 200 feet, depending on the model. In the last few years, Motorola has sharply improved these products while maintaining their There was a big consumer downgrade with their upgrade. Here are at least some of the shortcomings of the new BOOM I.

There is now a tinny tone to the telephone call, irritating both the caller and the This report identifies several problems with the metal collar barrel swivel, which is one of the problem areas. Circular sawtooth marks on the earhook around the receiver make the unit too easy to move vertically. The unit can be moved easily vertically. It is impossible for you to factory reset the bluetooth device. In all previous instructions, there is no such thing as "Welcome to the Motorola Boom". Even following the button configuration or maneuver precisely, none of these things will happen. Historically, technical support and literature have admitted that some connection problems can only be resolved with a factory reset, but this new version of BOOM no longer supports this option. This is 5. A phone cannot be named as being connected when it announces its presence. "Phone One connected" as well as "Phone Two connected" was an absolute delight in prior versions. "Connected Connected" is just announced in this new version. This is stupid. One reason for having this feature is so you'll be able to locate either of your two phones just by knowing it's close by. The number six. There is still too much noise from the female announcements. If Motorola had made that woman's announcements the same volume level as the user had adjusted their call volume, the user would not have missed anything. Ibid. (
7). In contrast to the Boom 2+ (not the Boom 2), the Boom 2+ has a short Bluetooth range, which is offset by a quick charging time and long battery life. About 200 feet is the maximum distance of the BOOM2. There are many BOOM2+ models to choose from The distance between the two is 50 feet. As a result of the same circumstances. The number eight. It doesn't auto-reconnect once you leave the Bluetooth range after pairing, and then you return to it The older version connected the way the older version did. Having to force a connection via Bluetooth require me to go to my phone's settings to do so. The nineth point. Instead of giving a detailed assessment of how many more hours charge remains, it just gives a generalized assessment, such as A much better indicator is how many hours are left on the battery. Efforts were made to make sure the new ear hook would not dig into my ear, as the loop conforms to the head and the fibers do not touch my By keeping the same model numbers, Motorola managed to fool us consumers by downgrading this product, making unwise and silly changes, but keeping the same features. If you've got an Amazon account, they have bluetooth earpieces for $12 - $13 I have talked to Motorola Tech Support for 100 minutes and they agreed that the functions have changed as I described. I spent $18 for this and they handle two phones quite well and sound much better than these new BOOMs. Replacements under warranty are of no use, nor will they be of any help if returned It was wrong to just rely on my experience with the older booms, when I should have looked at all the 1-year booms Here on Amazon, you can find 5-star reviews. I hope Motorola Reps will respond to the following since they are reading this The following points are relevant to this topic Is there a reason Motorola does not create a better hinge for its Several years have passed since the issue first arose. 1. Understand the concept of having a goal. Would it not be better if Motorola provided the consumer with replacement Boom swivel hinged replacement parts so that we would not have to send the earpiece to Motorola? The third point is
The Motorola ear loops aren't as good as they should be. Many years have passed since the barrel and sawtooth grip developed problems. The following are four points to keep in mind. The factory reset feature was removed from this model for some reason? Problems can be solved with resets. This text has been rephrased from version 5. 0. After trying four Booms (2 of B-2, 2 of B2+), I am finding that they all have sound quality issues when sending and receiving. My old Boom2 from two years ago sounds fine. When Motorola eliminated connections identification, such as "Phone One connected" and "Phone Two connected," why did they do so? We found this feature to be extremely useful, especially if a phone goes missing. This sentence is a very common refrain. When Motorola announces all menu items at maximum volume, why do they do that? Any volume that is set for calls should be used for the volume on the call. This sentence has 8 components. Are Motorola's Booms going to get the same quality sound you heard on the older booms, both while transmitting and receiving? The following are nine things you need to know. Could Motorola decide to use the much more useful remaining charging hours in the future? The complaints you receive are all categorized as warranty issues in all of your stock answers. Which of the nine points above can be corrected under the.

There are small pushes that seem to be causing the flip mic to open and close
3/5

The Motorola headsets in this series are what I've been using There are 3 H17s and 1 H18 A 550. After only one month, the outer plastic cover of this one is already falling off. There appears to be a tendency for the flip mic cover to slowly come off as it opens and closes. The problem was solved with super glue. One of the most important parts is the boom of the flip mic, which has not yet broken. Thank you for your "warranty. " I am glad I bought it. Although the audio quality was good and the range was good, it was not the best. A UPDATED BRIEF I've been using it for 7 months and finally the mic boom broke. The design of this device needs to be overhauled by Motorola. It has been more than a month since I sent the device to Motorola under warranty and I have not yet There's nothing good about Motorola's warranty service. They use a 3rd party contractor to process all.

This problem keeps getting This problem keeps getting I have bought about 10 of these in the past few years, and every single one of them broke on the hinge opening
3/5

In the past they have lasted up to a year and the most recent "improved model" lasted three
An inferior quality control system from China is sucking our money dry! It can be very difficult to get a return warranty from Motorola, as you have to fill out long forms, exchange emails, and then send back the unit at your expense. We are switching to another brand or design, not yet sure what, so good luck and it will most probably.

It's great to own a Boom 2
5/5

As for longevity, I cannot make any comments on that, but I was quite cautious when buying this item after reading poor reviews about flip booms breaking very quickly after buying. Despite the fact that I store it inside a hard case inside my backpack, mine is still working fine. According to the video quality and ease of use, it appears identical to the original Boom I purchased many years ago, which worked perfectly 100% of the time. I'll edit my review if anything differs from what I have described.

A total of four pieces of the mouthpiece have broken off
3/5

It just broke! I have a fourth one! Throughout the day, I work on my phone so I use my Bluetooth all the time. There is great sound going both directions from this small device. Since I can flip this open to answer, I don't have to have it in my ear all day long. HOWEVER, the flip mouthpiece is broken on all FOUR of them! figured I could replace it every once or twice a year if I replaced it once or twice a year. It took my last couple less than two months to break up. I don't think the hassle is worth it.

The sound is good, but the boom is poor
3/5

Unfortunately, after 2 months the boom on the headset suddenly broke off, despite the fact that it works great and the flip boom is a great idea. I'm not sure how long that lasted. This is something I occasionally use in my However, it also had a problem with the boom, which made it last for a much longer period of time While it didn't break off, I noticed that something was off, as it only connected via Bluetooth when you wiggled the boom. Unless the connection is forever, it will ask for a connection. It's obvious that this is a bad connection, however, it's past the warranty period. I will be looking to replace it with a new one. I have updated the information. I contacted the seller and arranged for it to be returned. I sent it back, but there was no response to my email. This is not something you should buy!.

We are no longer dealing with quality
3/5

Buying booms has always been a part of my routine. Well over a year and a half, if not longer, they continue to exist until I lose them. I had to tape the thing together this time since it literally fell apart. It still works, but I have to be careful not to damage it. What! It took me no more than a year for it to fall apart? All I had to do was pick it up, open the boom, and the pieces fell off. The boom did not fall apart like the It was only the rest of it that changed. There will not be a second purchase by me. There are cheaper models that do not fall apart for no apparent.
