In order to work at home, I was able to extend my phone and Ethernet cables using them. Having an ethernet connection for security purposes is a requirement for the job. In turn, I was able to use them to add additional phones to my parents' house. This was great news to find these online. I searched major retail stores and they no longer sold them.
The reason why I needed to install this was so both my telephone line and fax line could be located easily. Due to the narrow and tight configuration, my other one could not easily be plugged in. It was easy to insert into the tight space since it had a short, flexible plug cable/line. Moreover, it contained an advertisement saying that it was manufactured in the US, which is really rare.
I like the way this splitter works and how sturdy it is. There's no way you can go wrong at that.
The product does not work because of WiFi issues caused by distortion.
