Non- Calls that are on your blacklist, including caller ID information, will be routed to your phone or answering machine as usual. This device works fine when connected in series to a cordless phone system with multiple handsets; it is powered by the incoming phone line and does not require batteries. Please keep in mind that the device only shows the phone number and not the name of the caller. Some other Mcheeta models, I believe, display the caller's name, but this isn't an issue for me. Additionally, Mcheeta's customer service responds quickly to Amazon questions. This purchase has exceeded my expectations because it is exactly what I needed. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> The 13th of October, 2017 I've had this blocker for about a month and I absolutely love it! Robocalls and telemarketers are permanently blocked once they are added to the blacklist. I particularly appreciate the fact that Caller ID information is still sent to my regular phone system, allowing me to see both blocked and legitimate callers. br>br>OPERATING SYSTEM: Only the incoming phone line must be plugged into the back of the device, and then the device must be connected to the phone using the short phone cable provided.
Note: To exit any operation, press the NO CID/BACK button. 1. br>br> There are four different ways to add numbers to the Blacklist:
a. Press the BLOCK button while the call is in progress and the number appears on the device's display.
b. Press * twice while the call is active and the caller ID is displayed on your phone handset. br>c. Using the UP and DOWN buttons on the device, go over the incoming call log. To add a displayed number to the blacklist, press the BLOCK button. br>d. Press speakerphone on the phone handset, then * twice, enter a phone number, and press. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br Reviewing New Incoming Callsbr>To review the incoming call log, press the UP or DOWN button. To add a phone number to the blacklist, press the BLOCK button while it is displayed. br>br>3. When reviewing incoming call numbers, press the DELETE button twice to remove the displayed number. Press and hold the DELETE button for three seconds to delete all incoming call numbers. 4. br>br> Reviewing And Deleting Blacklist Numbersbr>Press the BLOCK button while the phone is in standby mode, then use the UP and DOWN buttons to scroll through the blacklist, which is organized numerically. br>br>5. Each incoming call was identified within 12 hours of properly connecting the device, but I was unable to call out when friends called and left a message. Following the display of an incoming call, the MCHEETA prevents outgoing calls. I had to unplug the device, reconnect it to the incoming line, and then dial out every time I needed to make a call. The first two appeared to be glitches, so I dismissed them. The third strike occurred while I was sleeping. On the remote voicemail, I received a call from a friend, who inquired about my recovery. I was able to see her phone number on the caller ID, but I was unable to call her. For the last time, I had to disconnect MCHEETA and reconnect my phone line because it was preventing me from making an outgoing emergency call. Avoid!.

If I could just get the junk calls blocked, I figured it would be cheap. By accident, I was able to block two unwanted callers as well as my own phone. This item simply did not accomplish much of what it was designed to do. The instructions are written in English, but only in a rudimentary sense. It was most likely translated from another language due to the poor grammar and sentence structure. Perhaps something was misunderstood during the translation. I had high hopes, but it just wasn't going to work out. This is also my second purchase of a 'call blocker. ' The first was created by a different firm. It didn't make a difference.

I've had Call Blockers in the past. V2 of the Sentry 2 Right now, I consider it to be a fully efficient, effectual, and result-producing product that will do all of the work for you and require very little monitoring. Your responsibilities are simple and take only a few moments to complete. I'll explain it quickly and try to make it as simple as possible; my only criticism is that the set-up isn't ideal. The instructions for setting up could be a little more clear. The system, however, is still simple to install. 1. br>br> Robo calls are detected by the Sentry blocker, which prevents them from entering your system. The system greets telemarketers with an unfriendly message instructing them to remove your phone number from their system.
2. If a telemarketer is trying to reach you, They'll be able to press 0 if they want to. They must hang up after pressing 0 and then dial the number again. Once you press 0 on your keyboard, their number will be stored in your computer.
3. If they choose to call back, they will be connected to your personalized televoice greeting. After that, they have the option of leaving a message.
4. You walk into the room and look over the figures. Any numbers that aren't recognized can be removed right away.
5. The following is my rule: If a telemarketer leaves a message, I use the Block List Button to permanently block the phone caller's number.
6. Please keep in mind that in an EMERGENCY, anyone can call back and leave a message by dialing zero. Also, anyone I give the number to, I simply tell them to press 0 and call back OR, BETTER YET: I PUT THEIR PHONE NUMBER IN THE SYSTEM, AND WHEN THEY CALL, THEIR CALL IS TRANSMITTED WITHOUT HAVING TO LISTEN TO THE MONITOR MESSAGES. Let's say you get a call from a doctor's office reminding you of your appointment. You can simply press the Accept Button when he leaves a message, and your doctor's office will call you back right away. I didn't have to deal with the call blocker message. This system has been with me for three weeks. I used to get about 5 calls per day, which kept me awake at night. Now there are no interruptions, and when I review the numbers later in the evening, I can easily delete or block them. If I receive a message, I choose whether to block, delete, or accept it. It only takes a few seconds to finish. My life has changed; no longer does my phone ring with telemarketers, and I know that if someone needs me, they can reach me. br> Moreover, IT IS A LOT OF WORK FOR A TELEMARKETER TO HEAR THE UNFRIENDLY MESSAGE, THEN PRESS 0 KNOWING THAT YOUR PHONE WILL REGISTER THEIR NUMBER, AND THEN CALL BACK. No Telemarketer has left a message in the last three weeks. Only two Marketers have called, but they hang up when they hear MY GREETING. Given the low price, this is an excellent purchase that will deliver the desired results. This book comes highly recommended. Please be aware that I had to contact Sentry's customer service department, which was extremely thorough, efficient, and responsive. Excellent service; I give this unit a five-star rating; you will be pleasantly surprised.
