Because this is a small device, I was skeptical whether it would work well since it is incredibly loud and has a coverage area of up to 5000 square feet. As an elderly person with a weak voice, I purchased a $35 Shidu voice amplifier S278 with a wired microphone to help it a little. This was a really good article However, once I realized that a wireless version would allow me to leave the amplifier/speaker unit near my husband while I walked around nearby rooms or when noise from dishwashing or TV would interfere with his hearing, I changed to a wireless system. In the end, I decided to try the Zoweetek unit with both a wired and wireless microphone. As the wired mic worked fine, the wireless unit was almost no better, and I had to return it and purchase the $55 Shidu unit instead. I think it works as well as sounds great This is not tinny or screechy in any way. The amplifier/speaker unit is also wirelessly connected, so it has all the benefits of wireless connection.

To test it, I had to move the amplifier to another room and ask someone if they could hear me, and only then was I sure it was working. It hasn't been determined which volume will be used on the belt clip yet. As long as you're communicating, it works fine.

Although it is not a very expensive amplifier, the pickup and sound quality are excellent. There is no good battery life indicator, which is the only frustrating thing for me. When the battery runs out, either the device will work for a short while or it will suddenly quit. I have two of these units, and this one seems to work quite well with the previous one. Then I set it aside and use the other one. I use it until the battery is gone and it stops working. After one quits, I recharge it to act as a standby until the other I use different units of different colors, this idea works quite well and I have not encountered any problems so far.

In my opinion, the biggest problem I have with this device is the bulkiness As a teacher of 4 year olds, I spend most of my day on the move. Moving the box causes it to "move" along with me. It is better to use this device as a device without a headset than the others I have tried. There is no question about this device's performance, and what is described in it To avoid the hassle of a headset and a box around my neck in the future, I am willing to invest in an earpiece and speaker system. I will probably be under COVID restrictions for a while, and without surgery I will not be able to restore my voice to an acceptable level for class.

Our best friend was set to officiate our wedding, so we bought this for her. This was provided since we were getting married outside. On a windy day, this might be needed.
