What is the difference between the two? Then read on! I'm glad I found this microphone since I'd rather have it than the cheapy ones on here. The build quality of this one does feel much better, though, despite its cost being 10x more than the other one. It will be interesting to see if it breaks as easily as the cheap-looking one The lav mics do the job. * It comes with an additional wind filter as well Should your voice recorder have threads for that, you should also include a 'dead cat,' as well as a locking plug. The microphone no doubt is a good one, and I believe it is well worth the price. You can see a video I made comparing a bunch of mics here!.
The microphone is really nice. Rodelink lavs provide excellent sound quality and I use this with a Rode VLXR+ to plug into my mixer or audio interface that provides phantom power, in order to make it usable as an external power source for the rodelink In the end, the cable is only long enough to let you add a couple more feet after passing it through your shirt, but you can connect the VXLR+ to an XLR cable if you want to extend the Although the mic works without plug in power, it is very quiet and turning it up enough to make it usable produces.
It works fine.
This item cost 100 dollars, it would be easy for children to break it while in action, as the clip would be difficult to keep in place while kids were playing.
I bought this for my rode go pro 2s and it is pricey but it does its job and makes an excellent combo for tutorials, interviews, or action in the field. With the rode go pro, I would definitely recommend them.
I like it a lot.
The quality is amazing!.
Service that is second to none.
