The 1/8" audio jack on my laptop is compatible with this. What do I need to do?

Special four-pin input jacks can be found on the input jack This jack is designed so that Shure wireless mic packages can be connected. When using a computer or laptop, it would be better to use some sort of USB headset or microphone, especially if you plan to record software or start a conference call.

Can this mic be purchased with a windscreen or more? It doesn't appear in the picture. ?

My staff and I have been using an expensive headset for quite some time that never sounded right, but this product does everything I expected it to do. At first I was hesitant to buy it (because of its price), but this has proven to be a great investment This system is used at our church in an auditorium that can seat over 700 people.

Two PGX1 Mics have been replaced by this earphone I like that

Besides being a dancer/singer, my wife also trains professionally. As part of the Shure PGX wireless system, we received a lavalier microphone that we disliked. I placed the container with wire through my hairdo and had to figure out a way to attach it to my An earpiece mic from Audio Technica that fits perfectly could be purchased for about $300 at Sam Ash. After some time from sweat and being used, the wire on it shorted. I bought an inexpensive replacement on eBay for about $70. 00. This was my third replacement for my wife's system, and I just purchased another for myself on the same system where I now wear a headset.

The best value for your money! I don't consider it a DPA or a Countryman E6, but I think it works well and sounds good

So far, I have purchased about six of them and plan to continue to do so. You may wish to consider this option if you have a tight budget If you want a good mic, you need this.

The first time I used it, it broke

Sound was good at first, but cut out and in with head movement after just a few uses. The sound I provide for church services is my job. In order to replace it, I had to pull out I was halfway through the service when I realized I was gone.
