Then read on! As for the microphone that I got, its wires were not unplugged A soldered joint. Again, I checked inside carefully and I don't know why people would go into that area in the first place, but the wires in my case were fine. Writing and recording commercially licensed music as a songwriter/composer is part of my work at performance rights organization BMI, Inc. You can hear an instrument that I attached to this review called "There is a light. ". My only other effect is post reverb. The rest is mic-only and there is hardly any other processing other than the microphone. Recordings I am making with the microphone are straight recordings of a baritone ukulele, as well as a guitarlele (gutalele or guilele), both without an Input jack on my USB audio interface doesn't have a mic' preamp, but I have an xlr input jack The amplified version. Since I am using this mic primarily for instrumental music like the one I compare to the SM57, I use it for so many of them, including this one. A good microphone like this is hard to find. In my understanding, a lot of guys will claim that this microphone has a bit of a mid scoop pertaining to the frequencies. This is a GOOD thing since many acoustic stringed instruments want something like that anyways prior to or following EQ settings. I use a dynamic microphone like this not just for its high cost, but also for the large range of sound it produces. There is not much outside noise pickup with this microphone. Furthermore, there is no noise floor / self-noise with this microphone. That's because large diaphragm condenser microphones can pick up a lot of outside noise, but this microphone does not. If you keep the gain down low and then use normalization to boot the dbs of the track, then you won't get any noise.
The graphics are good, but the sound isn't great. This is a great solution for small parties and festivals where the goal is to prevent lost units and save money. This is good for cabs, horns, etc. A drummer will break it if he hits it. This mic doesn't produce bad sound, but there is not as much gain before feedback as you would find with an SM57. if you're under 20, you're better off than a lot of people.
Are you in need of a SM According to our tests, this mic does the job just like a 57. Despite this, price must be a compromise, so we have it here. A great mic with a weak construction, but four of these are the price of one. They are not as good as a 57, but four will cost you less than one. Considering that they are only 13 dollars apiece, you could get away with using.
The mic is great and I will buy it.
When you unscrew the barrel, you will be able to remove the wires from the It's not even worth the paper it's written on. Unused items to be returned.
I've decided to fix the soldering on the mic, but it'll still make for a good mic to begin with.
I am using these for miking a 122 Leslie speaker at our church and they work great.
