Selected User Reviews For Electro-Voice RE20 Broadcast Announcer Microphone with Variable-D (Renewed)
If these are "renewed," I would love to know what makes them so. "The box is brand new, the case is brand new, and the mics appear to be The mic itself looks like it's never even been out of the case. It doesn't have a scratch, mark, or blemish that would suggest this has been used. It's a brand new set of instructions. Having read the reviews on this, I felt I was in the right place. In the positives, there is no BS. For voice recording, podcasting, and instruments, these are good studio microphones. In my case, I went with the MXL BCD-s because it was inexpensive These are only $50 cheaper than Option 1, which is only $50 cheaper than Option 1. The ones I sent back I sent Cheap mics do not sound as good as these RE320s, neither do they have a better track record. You should be wary of buying cheaper high-impedance microphones. You can get one of these for a few bucks more. I paid $198 for this review but didn't get a cent in return. By clicking the button, you will let us know if this article was helpful.
At Thick and Mystic, we have a wide range of microphones to choose from. These are some of the podcasts we have picked up. sell the Shure SM7B, which is another similar microphone. Truth be told, I love the sound of these. I can even buy more of these in the future instead of SM7Bs if we need them again. Even for a few TV broadcast recordings, these have been useful. I love how black it is on the RE320 as compared to gray on the RE20, and I know that sounds a bit strange when talking about a tool made for sound as opposed to a piece of equipment designed to produce sound. As soon as I give tours of the studio, these mics are always set up because they have a cool look. Having that kind of freedom is essential in a setting like ours.
a "refurbished" mic with high hopes for a good outcome. The item arrived in its original packaging and the instructions were unopened. It does not seem to have even a scratch or fingerprint on it since it is brand new and unused. It may have been ordered and returned by someone who changed her mind? As for the mic itself, I had been using a Rode Procaster, but it sounded too "muddy" in comparison to my low, bassy voice. After seeing numerous YouTube reviews and recommendations on this mic, I went ahead and purchased it. Although it does not seem to beat the Procaster by much, I do notice a better dynamic range, a clearer sound, and a slight reduction in bass. My main microphone will be this one for now, but what will become of it The answer is nobody knows. I paired this microphone with a FetHead in place of the Cathedral Pipes Durham that I was using previously, and the sound of this microphone has.
Shipping was fast, the item looks and functions just like Appearance is that it has not been handled. With gain to spare and a vanishing low noise floor, I'm running it directly through a Scarlett 2i2 (3rd generation). tempted by the Re20, but once you figure in the cost of Fetheads or Cloudlifters, the price goes up to triple. My expectations were met in terms of performance and build quality with the RE320.
After researching among all the best dynamic microphones out there for days, I decided to buy one. I prefer this price over others by RE20/SM7b if the price is reasonable (RE20/SM7b are also ok, but too expensive). As a RENEWED customer, I was very skeptical when I first ordered the microphone. The reason I have never purchased used electrical items before is that I know they are not as good as new and I just wanted to be prepared to return it if I found any issues. You have the perfect microphone! The box is so small that I was unable to tell if it had been opened in the past! Besides the microphone, the case, the documents and the accessories are all in original condition (not much accessories, just the boom arm mount), and the mic has not been scratched, not even a single finger print on it! I love the sound of the mic! In addition to the FetHead, I'm getting a Scarlett since my Scarlett produces some noise when I set the gain to 80-90% (you must do that), but overall, I'm very pleased and satisfied with my purchase.
It might be time to retire your Yeti and pick up an RE320 if you're looking for true "broadcast" sound. The sound quality is exceptional, as is the build quality. I use a USB mixer with an integrated preamp to connect the device to my PC. I love how it works!
According to the advertising, the Amazon "renewed" version looks like it just came out of the box. In addition to the original accessories (mic holder, EV branded carrying case, and specification sheet), the box also included replacement accessories. We ought to make use of this opportunity to save $100!.
The sound that comes from this microphone is very sweet. The sound quality is good and it resists noise well. Both the feel and the look of this shirt To preserve your recording environment as much as possible, you must take care of your microphone. In the future we plan to purchase a few more for the studio, since we are so pleased with this purchase. The microphone we use for voice is this one.
My favorite mic out of all of the ones I tried had the brightest sound. I would have kept it if it didn't have EMI noise that I couldn't Instead, I ended up with a Rode Procaster.
