One of the microphones is completely broken, while the other is in perfect working order; I assume I won't be reimbursed for the broken one because it was part of a package deal.

I wanted to start a podcast and didn't realize that you can't connect these to a computer without an adapter because I'm not familiar with sound equipment. But, until I figure out what else I need, I haven't used them to test sound.
