That's correct! The good news is that it can power a variety of wireless devices, so you can power something other than the pf24 if you need to! Note: If you plug it into something it can't power, you'll cause an electrical fire and short out both the power supply and the product!
Selected User Reviews For Shure PS23US Energy-Efficient External Switching Mode 12V DC Power Supply
This is the third time in less than two years that I've had to order this device. This is something I shouldn't have to buy so frequently. My microphone cuts on and off during performances because the electrical covering at the point where the cord enters the box is always exposed.
It was difficult to find a plug for an older Shure microphone, but this one worked perfectly and breathed new life into an old mic that was still functional.
I believe it is deserving of four stars because it performs as expected. However, the overall quality isn't great, as it will fray and wear out over time, so if you're buying one, buy two because you'll be replacing it again soon if it gets a lot of use.
It's fantastic! Instead of spending money on expensive 9V batteries, I can now save money.
Before ordering again, please make sure we are aware of the product. I ordered it as a backup because we use Shure equipment on a daily and professional basis and can't afford any downtime; Shure is, in our opinion, the best. I would do business with this seller again if the opportunity arose.
Instead, I was given a PS24US. It works, but the connection is shaky due to the incorrect model.
I'm going to play 1- I've had to re-invent myself twice a week. In the last 6 years, I've placed three orders for this item. I purchased it in January of this year, and it has already passed away. Regardless, I'm going to order another because I'm in desperate need of one! br>br>I also agree with other comments that the wires fray on both sides of the box where they connect to the adapter. Wrap it up with care. I have a habit of wrapping it tightly, which I suppose isn't helping.
It was a perfect match. The cords are of adequate length, and the transformer's screw holes are ideal for permanent installation.
